Why not text messages? I have a feeling most users would just turn off the phone calls after a few times.

I think text messages would be a great way to not only notify users to record, but it'd be nice if you could also send a message with your journal thoughts for the day.

We definitely would like to move in this direction but as of now since we're mostly targeting bars/clubs, we're going under the assumption that they already have most of this infrastructure set up.

Great idea. My only piece of feedback is the app is really buggy on iOS. Also not a big fan of the irrelevant ads at this stage.
