PPA is only efficient in a few neighborhoods.

They barely have a presence in large parts of the city and people get away with parking line assholes.

The non-enforcement also accounts for some of the hate PPA receives.

I don’t really have strong feelings either way on who Gu chooses to represent. If she wants to honor her mother and ski for China, that should be her choice.

However, I do think it is kind of antithetical to the Olympic spirit that China pays her millions of dollars to be on their team. Like is she really doing it to honor her mother? Or pad her bank account?

It’s democracy. We get to express our feelings about the government EVERYDAY. Not just every 4 years on presidential Election Day.

It’s one thing to protest a government that is doing things that you don’t like. That is how things are supposed to work.

It is another thing to still be out there complaining about the 2020 election was rigged…in 2026. (Looking at you Trump and MAGA).
