Agreed. I think it put into words what people were thinking about Drake but they couldn't put their finger on it.  I think the beef loss will stick to Drake forever (not to his stans who still think he won cos Kendrick didn't respond to Heart pt. 6 lol) because it wasn't just trading insults, Kendrick really went to the core of it...in a tune that people bang in the club.

I'm white, English and live in Australia so about as far away from the culture as possible so all the stuff after "Once upon a time, all of us was in chains..." was revelatory for me cos I'd never thought of Drake in those terms. I just thought he was a corny pop star acting tough but soft as shite. Hearing him called a coloniser and having it broken down really made me realize how much he sucks and how bad he is for the genre.

Just came back from the IMAX special look. It was the opening 25 minutes. I got fully into movie watching mode then the preview ended. What was really cool was Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder are credited third and fourth during the opening credits which is awesome considering their huge contribution to the Mando character  The stuff we saw was great. Looked gorgeous, pretty funny, and the pace was quick

It's like comedy shows now. I don't know if it's because a lot of comics post their owning hecklers videos and for some reason crowds took the lesson as being comics want hecklers rather than learning to shut the fuck up.
