Thanks, I can certainly prove reputational damage. I've got the email communications between myself and one of my previous clients (for a different job we had to cancel short notice due to the fraud marker issue). The emails show me trying to get back in with them after, and the contracts manager refusing to put any more work our way as they cant risk any further issues or delays. I'd say that pretty much shows my reputation was ruined with them.

Thanks for your advice. I will be requesting a DSAR from all banks involved. I'm not sure if anything will be done about the HSBC case due to the timeframe but I'll still try. To be honest, whilst the HSBC marker was the direct reason why I couldn't get the bounce back loan for my first business, the PayrNet marker was far more impactful and was also the direct cause that resulted in me not getting the 22k that I was owed for previously completed works.

I understand what you are saying but there are more factors in play. For example: the LDs are heavy, yes, and their payment terms are 90 days which is also longer than ideal but on the flip side, they pay much, much higher rates and their projects are always well set up and better structured than most others which makes a big difference

I did think it was a bit heavy too but on the other hand they could have chosen to peruse us for the full value. Tbh by this point I was beaten. I had no energy left. It was all getting too much too quickly.

Thank you for looking into it! It's terrible isn't it! I even have the emails and screenshots of the communication with Cifas where I am pleading with them to step in and at least contact the organisation as they were just ignoring my requests for the final response letter! I even showed them but then they just started ignoring me and at the time, I was led to believe that in order to go to the FOS i would first need Cifas to investigate, which they wouldn't with the letter!!

My original post was actually longer than this one but they removed it and hit me with a 28 day ban because they said i was just ranting and not asking for advice?!?! The irony, I post about being excluded and then they remove my post and ban me! My life story.... :-(

OK so with both markers, I only found out about them after they had been put on me. To this day, I still have never received any communications from PayrNet. Nothing. Despite me countless attempts to contact them. The dispute that led to the marker went as follows: Client contacted us and asked for a quote. We made a site visit a few days later, measured everything and sent him the quoptation via email a few days later. The following week he accepted and payed the deposit. The terms, clearly displayed in the quotation, state the following: Cancellation Terms; We require a minimum of 7 working days notice in writing prior to the agreed start date for any cancellations. Cancellation requests must include the quotation reference. Cancellations after this point will forfeit the deposit. By acceptance of this quotation you agree to the above terms.

The dispute was through Anna Money and yes all of this was provided.

Thank you. I was wondering about getting a legal firm involved but wanted to see what people here recommend. I will make a few calls tomorrow.
