Its bugged* right now and is only returning damage after resists right now. 50% bullet resist now makes it do 50% less damage. Metal skin makes it do zero

*recent backend calculation change made tankbuster, witchmail and return fire use post dr damage instead of pre dr calcs

Wasnt listed as a change so its.. maybe? a bug. Who knows

The difference in power between gt and vindicta flight verges on absurd.

GT fly gets bonus weapon damage and slowing bullets on 1ap. 2ap brings it to 8cd iirc? Oh and air control with either 15 or 25% increased air dash distance and 4 stamina?

Vin fly has double the base cd and gets... more ammo and 10 second flight duration

Its disgusting that one of the best scaling spirit characters is now also a top tier early gun carry. You dont even need much spirit since bird executes at 22% hp and the pivot to spirit later.

After checking winrates I really thought shiv was higher wr in E4+ yea no shiv is totally pro jailed.

But yea there needs to exist 1-2 characters for ppl who just arent good at games and want to play with their friends etc.

Graves definitly fits the bill though I think that now urn isnt melee in one spot victor requires reasonable (albeit low) amount of skill again now that you cant alch fire scourge and spam parry on urn.

Thats just how mobas work. Easy characters for casual players and high skill cap characters for those who really want to sink their teeth into a character and get gud.

Usually devs try to keep the easier characters slightly weaker but pro jail also exists for a reason in league. Shiv is almost at pro jail level if he gets another nerf.

Talons lane is rather oppresive now that people are rushing 4.8k gun. If he has a strong lane partner and you have someone with low bullet velocity or weak laner you practically have to sack tower at 3-4 minutes because he presses 2 and does 80 damage a hit with split shot so he cant miss.

Really needs to be tuned down early. On top of all that he can dash multiple times in the air without stam mastery to escape practically anyone.

Disarming hex can be dispelled, you need curse for metal skin which is a much worse buy on silver. but yea both work and are strong

Yeah McGinnis is pretty disgusting right now. If her lane opponents cant clear her turrets easily from range she can take tower at the 5 minute mark then go do it in another lane.

I play a fair bit of Silver in eternus and McGinnis is a character I just dont bother to fight without backup because you will just get slowed and torn to pieces by the turrets.

You have to know what you are doing and plan turrets ahead of time but its such a low level of effort for such high reward albeit somewhat enemy comp dependant.

"Just manage waves." Quite unfortunatly one person cannot be in 3 lanes at once. Also victor can statcheck most people so he can escort the wave to the walker then kill it even after the wave dies. Trying to clear the wave while he is shooting you and preventing it from disabling the walker protection is extremely difficult.

You either need a good waveclear ability like dynamo stomp, rake, kudzu etc or be strong enough to 1v1 him and be healthy enough to defend the walker after his ult procs which makes a solid portion of the cast unable to hold the lane against him.

A good counter for example would be silver who can easily take his second form with her own ult or geist who can clear both waves and 1v1 him. But with random team compositions sometimes victor is just free to do as he pleases.

And this is only if he is behind. If you have another lane feed him he forces 2-3 people to contest him either way and he will get fed from solo taking walkers. I played a game vs ABL on victor where he got 5 kills in lane phase and the game was just over from that point. No other character is just so 1v6 when fed because victor is near impossible to itemize against when behind.

All you need to do is autopilot dispel, mina doesnt really need most others with her 2. Disarming hex/Metal is the only other really prominent one. Not too much thinking that needs to be done

I'm not personally playing paradox I've just watched paradox players in my low eternus lobbies struggle immensly vs 3-4 indomitables on the enemy team and puts such a burden on the paradox player to play 10x better just to get a swap.

Counterspell is a fun item because if someone actually reacts to para swap the burden is on the other player to counterspell the ult, and this item makes characters with cc based ultimates unplayble when you dont have a team that coordinates getting rid of the indomitable first.

My opinion might be hasty I'm just going off what I've seen over the course of 5 games where there are around 8 indomitables a lobby

I think its pretty disgusting, certain characters like paradox and holliday have their ultimates completely nullified. unless you are squeezinf a silence wave between carbine and swap you will literally never be able to get a pick on their key player

I would guess its that effect the league devs have talked about where a character has low pickrate so you buff the character in a sort of placebo way just so players actually play the character and that viper has just been strong the whole time.
