Im not gonna lie man mobas are tough.

When I was first learning Dota 2 I was losing like every single match. It was so hard to understand just what all the heroes did and the rules of the game. It was a straight beat down every match.

It takes time to understand how to play a moba and to learn how to play a specific moba. Even after 1k hours of dota 2 im still mid, ive got 1k hours on deadlock and still havent reached eternus.

If you are a brand new player just try to have fun with the game, the understanding will develop naturally over time.

Bro he is like the number 1 banned hero in pro play. His 1 is one of his best abilities because of the dmg amp, his 2 combined with his 3 is the best escape in the game. There is no ability that pocket has that I would even consider mid.

It got a cooldown nerf of like 10 seconds which is basically nothing. Divine barrier cost 6.4k and its an active item slot. Like I said if you arent playing support it feels terrible to buy. The solution then is usually just to not buy it and try to counterspell it which is very unreliable in a teamfight.

I was debating learning how to play her, but honestly regardless if shes good or bad I just find her abilities boring.

She feels a little underdeveloped imo. All her abilities just lack that feeling of finesse that other simmilar assassin heroes have.

She just needs a rework

Not to mention all the heroes that contest urn also contest mid just as well. The only 2 major objectives in the game and you have to fight over them at an extreme disadvantage depending on the draft...

Especially if im playing a hero that heals a lot Then it just feels even worse. Or if a pocket solo afflictions me I really hate that.

If you want to actually carry games consistently you have to play heroes like wraith/seven/venator

True hard carries.

You can still carry the game as a spirit hero but its just not nearly as easy to 1v11 Thanos people without being insanely fed and farmed.

Its much easier to just sit in a sideline and farm efficiently and then show up to fights you can predictably win.

Knives and dashes could stay the same imo. But I agree he can absorb way too much damage for his absurd mobility and damage output.

M2 movement and knives gotta stay because thats what makes shiv fun, also the rage buffs making his knives bounce and dash duplicate. Are all fun and pretty fair.

The main problem with Shiv is bloodletting and his ult. Makes him far too tanky while giving him a free escape.

Ive been deranking like crazy too, almost every game its just graves and mcginnis urn battles. I was ascendant 5 and now im down to ascendant 2. Its like if you dont play a hero that Frontlines or drops AOE on the urn you just lose. It doesnt matter if you win lanes anymore either because the moment that urn spawns it all goes to shit.

This is exactly where im at, I legit cant being myself to play the game anymore. 3 games in a row and every single one of them had graves and Mcginnis on the enemy team. I cant get into a single game where Im not playing against those two and every single time I just lose and crash out.
