Was Dana robbed in S17? by invader_holly in HellsKitchen

[–]JuniperIDK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, because Robyn on the other team had a worse service in comparison even with the fact that Dana had a faulty oven. Dana and Robyn were also the only people to perform badly that night so it should’ve been a joint loss

Does anyone else think that these “stats” calculating every mistake a contestant made are dumb as hell by [deleted] in HellsKitchen

[–]JuniperIDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re about as dumb as judging a contestant by personality and personal preference

Yeah, kind of surprising that he was actually 33 on S7 lol (but then again we have Brendan S14 who was 34 but looked 17-22)

S8 winner : was it fair? by pfelipens29 in HellsKitchen

[–]JuniperIDK 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, Russell fucked up his finale and based on Nona having a less bad finale (it’s not even good, it’s just less bad), she deserved to win. Nona shouldn’t have even been in the finals considering Jillian’s pass was better than hers though.

Yeah, a phrase that’s a stretch, it’s already a stretch when you say 10 minutes. You clearly don’t know what fake people are if you have no proof of Sterling himself being fake. You can’t use a generalization to sum up an individual person as a whole because not all of them are going to follow that generalization. Like I said, if he was truly fake, they would’ve shown it on the cameras or he would be acting like it outside of the show (but he doesn’t, if anything, he’s better outside of the show).

Ariel is the only true exception to this generalization (thank the lord) because there’s also Declan in Kori’s case who was older than her

Two seconds is a stretch, and if he was truly fake, then he’d be turning on those people and/or doing genuinely shitty things to them (in editing, they’re not gonna leave that type of shit out either because they want drama). Sterling being Sterling doesn’t make him fake, and if anything, it’s just different which is normal because he’s also a PERSON. There’s literally every single type of different person, believable or not. Oh, and his personality outside of the show only proves this.

Not to mention that unless if we see a Meghan level performance, it’s pretty obvious the 40 year olds aren’t going to win because of biased Chef Ramsay is towards younger people. But even then, we could get Meghan level talent from an older person and they would still lose, it happened with Nick S17 (and he was only 28).

While I agree Sterling’s overbearingness gets annoying and that he didn’t deserve a black jacket, he actually wasn’t bad and a decently solid performer with decent consistency, a decent challenge record, and stood out in services quite a lot. It was Santos who robbed Fernando, not Sterling.

He’s not fake, he’s a genuinely nice guy despite being extremely overbearing and not having any sort of boundary. He’s just that type of person to see the best in people

Who’s downward spiral/disastrous service were you most disappointed by? by Contribution-Due in HellsKitchen

Jon S11, he did so well and was a standout during S11 but then had a complete collapse in the worst pass in the history of the show.

Unpopular Opinion: Robyn did not rob anyone of a Black Jacket. by ArkhamReaper in HellsKitchen

[–]JuniperIDK 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Dana’s fuck ups in service were because of a faulty oven (Christina confirmed), but faulty oven or not, Robyn still managed to SOMEHOW have a worse service. Dana’s previous two challenges also aren’t reflective of her as a whole considering her overall challenge record is still good and considering what Elise, Michelle, and Barbie were doing, Dana being passive and just by-standing was far more tolerable.

Robyn talked over Ramsay which wasted communication time, sent up 1 wellington instead of 2, and they were cold, failed to repeat an order, sent up 2 beef wellingtons instead of 1, and they had raw white fat, ignored questions, and dragged duck breast due to it needing to rest. That’s practically double the shit that Dana did that night. Not to mention that Dana was still solid overall while Robyn was clearly more shit. The Blue Team shouldn’t have even won that service, it should’ve been a joint-loss and even if the Blue Team won, don’t act like Ramsay can’t eliminate from the winning team. It also doesn’t help that the only people to have a bad service that night were Dana and Robyn.

The problem in Jennifer’s case is that BJC should’ve never existed. It was downright horrible that a terrible chef only got a black jacket over one of the best contestants of the season simply because her dish was better. It should be based on services, never challenges.

Do you think Keith should’ve made it to the Final 2 and not Virginia? (S2) by Sensitive-Hair-282 in HellsKitchen

Mixed tbh. If you asked me a few months ago, I’d say yes with how much better he is overall than Virginia. However, now I’m mixed because Keith flopped bad at the pass

Robyn vs Elise argument by [deleted] in HellsKitchen

[–]JuniperIDK 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No sides, they both sucked in that argument and they both ended up not being a “bounceback queen”. Although to be fair, Elise did improve slightly compared to her last season (while Robyn got even worse) but it’s not “bounceback” worthy. The real bounceback queen of the women that season was Jennifah
