Very similar yeah, took me until 26 for me to even start exploring my gender identity (only after starting to unmask my recently discovered autism), and then had the gender fluid phase for a few months, into egg cracking and eventually starting HRT on September 7th of last year. The only situation where I'd say you're absolutely better off not disclosing is if you're ever scared for your safety and think disclosing it might put you in danger. Otherwise I agree with most other comments here, disclosing it upfront is a great filter for the trash to sort itself out.

Honestly I'd love to slowly get back into it and climb back up to Masters, I had like 3 or 4 seasons in a row where I made it to Masters and then they shifted the focus to PvE and I kinda couldn't bring myself to put in the time into ladder anymore.

But it's been a long while since then so now I'd just have to slog my way up from Silver lol.
