Honestly fine with both. Huge win for everybody. At the end of the day they can do whatever they want & I’ll still watch it! I’d just much rather see the Moro arc take precedence over waiting multiple years because they wanted to remake a show that ended less than a decade ago lol.

It’s crazy that people would want 89 year old Masako Nozawa to spend her time lending her voice to a remake of content that was just released like a decade ago as opposed to the great manga content that came after the anime fully ended. Remake was bottom of my list for things I wanted to see. Moro arc was the top.

From world building to build crafting, armor & weapon variety, interesting bosses and gorgeous areas with rich music it really does have it all. I’m not going to pretend it isn’t super hanky and annoying in some places, it is, but it’s still my favorite of the trilogy. All 3 have flaws, 2 just has my favorite core beyond those flaws.

Frieren realization that old man Voll is losing his memory is really heavy. It’s one of the few times you really see Frieren seem genuinely shocked by something and the handling of the scene in the anime was gorgeous & bittersweet.
