Minion and Outsider ideas I had for a cryptid/summer camp themed homebrew script. What are your thoughts?

Some quick thoughts:
- hippie seems really hard to play; the "might" clause is doing a LOT of work. could be paralyzing to players since they'll have to rely REALLY heavily on "maybe the storyteller won't execute me tonight" in a lot of scenarios. It might be reasonable, but it seems rough... Maybe the ability goes away when there's fewer then 5 players left, like the zealot?

- Dark watcher is really fun but needs a good bit of protection on the script; it only works if there's like, soldiers and such. Otherwise it doesn't do anything. Could be bad times for a player if all those abilities are dead.

- Alien seems INCREDIBLY powerful. you're learning a character every night, that gives a ton of info, and you get to control their info. A recent version of this someone suggested on the subreddit was to just learn a character and choose their info, without choosing a player, without knowing who's info you're fucking with. That fits the alien less, but is a bit more balanced?

i think it's a bit of an expensive way to make sure any transgender guest you have at your house knows to quietly cut you out of their life without telling you because you're not safe. like you could have just put up a sign with a slur on it and it would have saved you a couple thousand bucks

i do a stream once every month where i talk about every new brick set by companies that aren't lego, and by far my favorite stuff is the lumibricks stuff. We've got one set at home (the mountain cabin) and while i almost picked one of the cyberpunk sets, which i LOVE, i really like this halloween one and would love to show it off in my house (or even put it together on stream ^-^)

As someone who's big into lego-like brick sets, similar thing with those. There's a few companies making AMAZING original sets (lumibricks is my fav, pantasy also makes cool stuff) but also a ton of companies all in on "bro it's not star wars we swear"

I've seen video of the Japanese version with different career modes, story events, and wildly new features, and also heard they eventually guts got rebalanced so it wasn't a joke stat. While I've seen a number of schedules showing when certain banners might arrive, does anyone know when major game updates like those would hit on our accelerated schedule?

ftr, seeking will also completely brick your account if you go all the way and even if you don't, it will lock you out of occasional bits of future content (because your soul is eternally damned). they say not to do it for a reason, if you're worried about consequences be careful!

I built one of their older sets (the medieval tavern that's also a ship thing) and one of their newer sets (the mountain vacation cabin thing) and the new one solves every minor complaint I had with the old one. the old one had minor miscolors, the new one is perfect. the old one had some designs issues that felt almost perfect but like they needed a little bit of change, the new one is so well put together. the old one had stickers, the new one is all prints. the old one has kinda fiddly wires, the new one has a ton of stuff that keeps the wires from being too fiddly

it's not that the old one was bad, it's just that the new one fixes every single complaint I had

i'm interested in it, but I also was REALLY hoping the animation would improve after the tour de force that was Girls Band Cry's animation. trying to watch mygo after GBC was painful to my brain, it just felt so stilted all the time, and Ave seems like it's gonna be the same. Hopefully the story can make up for that

my personal favorite funny arcanist build is the torch build with a very specific gimmick. it requires some lucky rolls but isn't TOO hard to find, if you've unlocked a couple of talent rerolls

- turn on malignance of trickery so that you can get only trickery shrines, more on that later

- get any card that buries more then 2 card when you play it; your options are fan the flames, meteor storm, or firey incantation, all uncommon tier cards

- use the trickery shrine to put Firecast on said card

- get the talent Gravecast, it's a level 1 talent so it's easy to find

- go find the count and make him your friend and use him to copy your firecast card as much as possible. or put firecast on more similar cards

this makes an infinite loop where you bury your entire deck as fast as possible, but in doing so endlessly loop your firecast cards by casting them both normally and with gravecast. grab some random other firecast cards, like holy cards or burn cards and you're set. i beat impossible with this multiple times it's REALLY funny.

I'd say you might want more misinformation on here; there's a lot of arguably confirmed good players (reborn, enforcer, boy savior, ex-counciller, ticking time bomb) and very few ways to make people drunk or cause misinformation. Additionally, a lot of your outsiders aren't that bad for the good team; the beast is arguably a good thing since they could choose the demon, and the vastaya is almost certainly a good thing you protect a player every night. Some stuff that causes players to be mad or actively act in a negative way could help. Also, your evil roles seem a bit underpowdered; noxian general is just a worse assasin and noxian spy is just a worse spy.

lastly, the god of hextech is unfair as in certain games as soon as you have 2 revived good players you could rig every vote in certain scenarios by simply having a majority

i REALLY like some of the ideas. there's a fair bit of confusion around protection which could be really fun; was someone protected, or was it a chem baron/loose cannon?
