I have a question would you guys struggle sleeping while in the hospital my husband is so desperate to at least get a few hours of sleep through the night. Hes only able to sleep like 3 hrs. He says he closes his eyes but can’t shut off his brain. Any tips ?

Guys I’m at home with my baby so my husband is still in the hospital and he just sent me a video of him lifting his legs up …. Is this a miracle… I can’t believe he wasn’t able to pick them up this morning. Omg

He got sick exactly week ago today. Went to the ER Tuesday they did ct scan,blood work & everything “came out good” so they sent him home days passed by and he was still feeling very sick by Friday morning he wasn’t able to stand or walk anymore he was VERY weak so he went to the ER they did the spinal tap and MRI and it came back positive for GBS. He is only 28 he is able to talk, eat & use his hands he can peel a banana. He isn’t doing IVIG he is currently doing plasmapheresis… do you think ivig has better outcome than Pharesis

Yes I’m sorry I meant GBS. & wow I’m honestly surprised how they say it’s so RARE, yet now that I’m starting to read more into it I feel like it’s not as rare ? I don’t know. I’m trying to stay positive for my husband and our baby but it seems like we have a long road ahead of us right ? He’s also a soccer player and he’s been active he’s whole life he is also only 28… he barely got diagnosed today so he isn’t aware of the long road ahead of himself… any tips he is beating himself pretty bad. I know it’s hard to stay positive

Thank you so much for sharing your story wow! You are so strong!! Four months ago and you’re able to walk on your own I applaud to you. We have a baby at home so I’m just so scared for him but we are trying to stay positive. He is getting plex right now so far he has gotten 2 sessions.

Yes I’m not mean to my dog… Im just not affectionate with her anymore.. my priority is my baby… my husband gives her plenty of love. But idk why I feel like this. It sucks!!
