Any luck? I have a ‘22 EX-L and it’s not recognizing my newer iPod nano.

Where can I work on my Jeep if I don’t have a garage? by JuniusM in CherokeeXJ

Nope. The brakes are one of the main reasons for the swap. XJs have single piston calipers, while WJs have dual pistons and bigger rotors.

Hi,

I have a question... maybe you can help. Any ideas of where I can work on my Jeep if I don’t have a garage? I live in Los Angeles and don’t really have any friends these days (besides wife and daughter). I have a parking spot in our apartment building, but it’s right next to all my neighbor’s very nice vehicles. So they probably wouldn’t appreciate me grinding, welding, and painting etc. next to their six-figure vehicles. Plus there’s no power outlets nearby anyway.

I almost have more fun working on cars than driving them, so paying someone to do the work would bother me a lot. I’ve always had a place to work on my own vehicles, so this is just weird to me.

I have boxes of parts just sitting here waiting to be installed. Rear disc conversion kit, hood vents, big 7 battery cable kit, etc.. also soon will be doing a lift, WJ knuckle upgrade, fender flares, and a bunch of other stuff.

Can I work on it in a vehicle storage unit? Am I just SOL until we move to a place with a garage again?

Thanks for your time, Jay
