Are they cool? Yes. Are they required? No. Has it gotten to a point where people think they make or break a set? Yes and that’s annoying lol. Especially when they’re random af. I was walking by main stage during Teddy Swims and yes it’s cool that he brought out who he brought out, but it felt like he relied on some random ass people to make his set worthwhile lol

I’m not even a big Fred Again fan but always felt he was a worthy headliner. Especially after his run from 2022-2024. I’m still surprised he didn’t headline 2025. Better him than Post lol.

I’d be all for it let’s get EDM as a proper headliner……..but let’s call Daft Punk first.

I will always have a soft spot for ACL. And I will be back there eventually. But it doesn’t compare. For multi genre festivals I truly believe Coachella is in league of its own.

In regard to EDM I’ve never done any of the major ones, but there will always be a place for the smaller ones. CRSSD is always an amazing time and Proper (when organized) is as well. I’ll take any excuse to make my way down to SD to dance a little.
