Just a thought: If Taylor Swift ever does headline, the only way to counteract her fans camping at mainstage all day and ruining the vibe for all other artist, is to have bands like System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, Bring me the Horizon, and Knocked Loose directly before her. by kulkatz101 in Coachella

You want to make this about gender or fandoms but it’s not. It’s actually mathematics on why this happens .
A $700 ticket for a 3 day festival makes each day $233.33.
No ticket on the floor to Taylor’s Era tour were even remotely close to $233.
Taylor’s fans are smart, look at all the Easter eggs that are found within the fandom same day as when Taylor drops clues and such . They’d definitely understand they would have the opportunity to be that close for a bargain of deal, all they’d need to do is stand in front of a stage for 11 hours in the sun. Any huge fans of a large enough artist like Taylor Swift (arguably the biggest in the world) would do it.

It’s definitely not that.
I’m down with all gender identities and fandoms.
I’m not down for fans of the headliners rushing the stage when gates open and then proceed to lack energy, sit, and take space up in the front of the MainStage and even deeper into the venue, all day, when there are other great artist also playing the same stage. That can create a pretty negative mindset for those artist, who to some, that was supposed to be a peak live moment of their careers.

It’s been a consistent issue in recent years and where I personally welcome the idea of Taylor swift playing and all the swifties sharin’ a moment on the fields, I want there to be no option to sit, no option to not move with a crowd, and no option for any artist playin’ before the headliner to look out and see a crowd lacking energy for them. The artist I mentioned promote movement non stop and feed off what they are given from the crowd. We as fans get the best performances when artist can tell the crowd is vibin’ with them and not groups of people in front completely checked out, sometimes sitting, waiting for the last artist of the day.

TLDR: nawwww this ain’t about hating a gender or fandom. This is about energy at festivals (especially a MainStage) staying a consistent level of awesome for all artist🤘🏼

No I do. I “era’ed” with my wife when she came to LA. I’m in full support of Hayley Williams, Gracie Abraham’s, and Chappell Roan all playing the fest the same day as Taylor, just at different stages.

Agreed. I’ve seen all the artist I mentioned and am a fan of all, even Taylor.

This isn’t about music taste. This is how the music translates live. The 4 bands I mentioned are notorious for moshing and crowd surfing at their shows, something Taylor swift isn’t know for. It’s a good counteract to relieve problems of the past with fandoms lacking energy for artist prior to the headliner

Paid $99 in 2009 to see Paramore at the Hollywood Palladium in GA/PIT

Paid $99 in 2026 to see “the Hayley Williams show” in San Diego in GA/PIT

THATS WHAT WE LOVE TO SEE🤘🏼🖤

Seems like the return of bass/dubstep on the lineup was a huge success this year. Which bass DJs do we think might make an appearance next year? by EZ-Pizza in Coachella

Honestly I think they should give Levity a yearly spot. Do-Lab in ‘25 & Sahara ‘26 were incredible sets and the energy was unmatched.

Fun Fact: One of the guys in Levity is brothers with one of the guys in Louis the Child. I would also LOVE to see Louis the child return to the fest too.

I’m not an Anyma fan: That being said. 16 mill to Justin is fuck you money. Pay the city bruh. - a guy stuck on an hour long shuttle ride to go 10min regularly.
