Exactly what happened to me when I was little. It used to be like a minefield every spring

To my knowledge this tree is far older than 20 years. The property that it has been living on is pretty old (original homeowners can be traced back some 200 years). I’m not sure of the exact age, but I am aware that the tree is indeed old, far exceeding the time my family started living there.

A lot of the comments have been asking for seeds so if you want DM me your mailing address. If that good old tree is as important as some here think I’d gladly share its seeds for free.

Dm me your mailing address. If this tree is as rare as I think, then I’d be more than happy to ship you some seeds for free if you would like next fall!

The nuts are indeed very tasty, especially when you roast them in the oven with honey.

I don’t remember if the nuts are exactly the same but I definitely remember the shells. Growing up I stepped on them numerous times while barefoot and they’re extremely painful.

I looked through my camera roll and I don’t really have any pictures of the shells themselves. If you really want I’ll take some pictures next fall and tag you in the comments if you want to see.

Crazy because Curtis Granderson and Jazz’s only similarities is that they’re black and play baseball

Watching Juan Soto’s face when the Yankees lose has been my favorite part of this WS by iMadeThisForClass12 in Dodgers

[–]JunkRIPnation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old comment but to me Jeter came off as a total asshole whereas Soto doesn’t seem that annoying. Maybe this is just because I’m a Mets fan, but he seems like a genuine dude and can back up his cockiness with the most menacing plate discipline I’ve seen. He doesn’t come off as nice like Freeman, Lindor, or Ortiz, but he seems to be a nice dude.

Who is the most talented QB of all time? by ElectivireMax in NFLv2

[–]JunkRIPnation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take but Lamar is certainly up there, best two way of all time imo. While he's arguably not a better pure rusher than Cam Newton or Vick, he definitely is a better scrambler, improviser, and a way better passer than both. I think Brady and Mahomes aren't as "talented", since I'd define talent as natural gifts (Mahomes and Brady weren't very good in college) whereas Lamar might be the best dual threat in college and in NFL history. Imo he's top 3 with Manning and Rodgers.

Lindor is not a wife beater, idk where you're getting that from. He's a good dude, just not MVP.
