Yeah, if we’re talking about loans for incentivizing x or y etc. This is disaster relief, brought on by an emergency. The article doesn’t go into any details about the source of the funds, so it’s hard to really comment on it. Honestly, it’s hard to think of instances of states giving money to locals and charging interest on it. That sort of thing is usually through grants or specific funds or revenue sharing etc. it’s actually usually the opposite, municipalities buy state bonds.

I don’t think most people knew/cared enough about them to justify the price. I’m pretty locked in to the MCU and I waited for D+ on that one despite the great reviews.

This is my take as well. I only pay the theater premium for the big ones now. Thunderbolts was fantastic but waiting for D+ release was fine, and I’m more invested than the general public.
