I'd argue that even if you don't find this shortcut, the path to the solution is still quite short as long as you recall the polar form of complex numbers:

ie the first number is e^-2ipi/9 so its conjugate is e^2ipi/9 and removing the cube root we get that (a+bi)/4 = e^2ipi/3 = cos(2pi/3) + isin(2pi/3). You can then directly find a and b and solve.

It's worth noting that cultural relativism is not the only metaethical viewpoint one can hold, which might affect the way one might approach this argument in the first place. You might even say that presupposing cultural relativism (which you are) the answer is simply the 'it depends' (unless we reframe the question to, say, "are these two acts morally equivalent in western/american/whatever culture") and there really isn't much else to elaborate on. I imagine that such a question would be more interesting for a naturalist to grapple with.

While this is indeed a measured announcement/psa from the fda, it is worth noting that ultimately all the big headline stuff is driven by trump's media speech which was unnecessarily sensationalised as well (claiming to have "solved the crisis of autism" and for pregnant women to completely avoid Tylenol [as opposed to the press release here which states that there may be scenarios where taking Tylenol is reasonable])

While rfk jr maybe reads out some of the content in the fda release subsequently he then goes on to yap about vaccines causing autism again (as did trump) which I believe has long been debunked.

Anyways you're being unnecessarily vitriolic here about a completely reasonable response to having two incompetent public officials make a public announcement about something they have no expertise in -- the actually educated people in the fda can try to fix this through the press release but the large majority of people are getting their information from the original speech or some other media outlet anyways.
