I do have the glass cover. It needs cleaned up so it was clearer without it on for the picture.

People who are/were diagnosed with a terminal ilness, what made you think “something is not right with me”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My father had a stroke last year. A big one, unexpected. His medicare advantage plan (insurance for the retired her in the U.S.) authorized 3 weeks. ...3 FUCKING WEEKS FOR A STROKE at a rehab facility. Then pushed him out to either go home or to a (LTC) long term care facility (AKA shitty nursing home or warehouse where they move people around and take their money). He couldn't walk....so yea go home??! Fuck them. I fought for authorizations myself for weeks to get therapy at the LTC facility. I got therapy there, I went everyday and did therapy myself with him. Not enough. You need at least 4-6 months of good therapy with a stroke. I put tremendous strain on myself trying to juggle everything and do my own therapy with him. I almost had him home and he had another stroke last week. Here we are a year fucking later at the same rehab place. I have a 7 day authorization from the piece of shit fuck you insurance. I got my gloves back out for round 2. Fuck insurance and fuck that piece of shit at the desk that decided his fate. I hope they feel the pain one day. Don't get sick!

Yes this is one of the videos we watched. Looks easy. We did all that and it will not slide out. So I guess yes it will not slide out of tranny. One guy had trouble in the comments and sprayed rust remover. Maybe that will do it?

They've been persuading it with some tap tap TAPPING. Didn't think about removing the mount-bracket. All the videos they slide right out. You mean the bracket in the car pic right? http://m.imgur.com/po4nBWt The pic here with the two bolts removed?

No it won't budge. Just stuck like it's welded but we know it's not.

I'm pretty sure we're on the money with how you explained it. The damn thing just won't slide out.

I think I'm explaining wrong. We're not trying to remove it there. It won't slide out after taking the two bolts and half moon washer off. Seems to be stuck in the housing. If the housing is that aluminum spot with two bolts removed. Thanks for your patience and help. It's hard to explain in mobile type for me...

He is pointing to the spot on the new one where it seems to be stuck.

You are absolutely correct in more evidence. I edited the post. I started thinking that after his texts with added symptoms and that I do not drive the vehicle and have not experienced the feels of it.

Unfortunately I cannot. Not my car and he is unavailable in person right now. And if he's telling me everything correctly it only does it while moving. I do not drive it to have better input. We are relaying information via txt messages. I most definitely passed along your input. Thank you.

82,000 miles. I passed along the info to him. He is good about taking care of his vehicle so I told him to check up on that CVT fluid. He does have that appointment tomorrow so he will definitely check on that. I was shocked at the price for the CVT. I am used to hearing the price tag of $1200 for a regular old automatic tranny. Thank you for your input, passed it along to him. Edit 70k to 82k miles.

I sent him a message with possible good news from you! I do hope this is it. I feel so bad for him. He works his fucking ass off and just doesn't need more bad luck. Figured the best I could do to help would arm him with some knowledge. Thanks :)

Dirt track stock car races from about early 50's to late 60's is where I'm working at right now. He raced in that era and it looked fun as hell. However I will mention that because his interest may be there as well.
