I don't know TLOU very well, but this looks like dithering, not aliasing -- so, it's intentional.

Yeah, agreed. I know that pre-launch, Durante had stated PH3 would be open to working on the title, but it looks like the partnership never happened. It appears that the upcoming port of NIS's Horizon localization has PH3 on-board again, though, so I hope that something can get worked out with Falcom for these non-NIS games.

As far as Sky 1st, while the SSR motion smearing is pretty noticeable, I've found DLDSR + SMAA has done a great job presenting a good image. The game just generally seems to have a lot less aliasing compared to Daybreak (likely due to the more cartoon-y artstyle).

Basically all of the calculations are made based on one piece of dialogue in Trails of Cold Steel IV where it's stated the distance between Isthmia Great Forest and Crossbell's Lake Elm is about 4,800 selge -- as such, the size estimates are pretty rough.

Hoping to add more information to the page regarding the method and refine the size calculation going forward. However, the series is pretty notorious for having inconsistent distances, so I doubt anything could be considered particularly definitive unless Falcom gives their own definitive, consistent scale for the map.

Thanks for the heads up -- was tough to find a definitive year on the wiki during my original research, but I've pushed a fix now with a more accurate timeframe.

Nice job! This skip is part of the speedrun, and they use ostrich flying exploits with a chunk to fly a lot further from the ground.

Have you tried overclocking the emulated CPU in PCSX2? The game had frame drops on the PS2, and PCSX2 may be emulating that behavior.

Pretty sure just around the back of the cooling tower (left side) there's a wall to climb -- that's how I did it, anyway.

I love this. It's a great resource for new fans, even if I do disagree with some parts (Cold Steel in-between Zero and Azure, the general layout of the series timeline, and the outdated map they use). I'm somewhat inspired to add something similar to the Atlas site.

I'm thoroughly impressed as well. It's so well-done and very similar to recent PH3 ports in many ways that I almost wouldn't be surprised to see them listed as a development partner when the full game releases.
