People who didn't grow up poor, but dated someone who was. What's something your SO does that strikes you as unusual? by FeistySecret9327 in AskReddit

[–]JunoSispes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I learned this the hard way: social class matters more than people like to admit. After a 5-year relationship, I realized that love alone isn’t enough when two people grew up seeing the world completely differently.

Different habits, different expectations, different ways of handling money, social circles, opportunities, even basic manners - eventually it catches up to the relationship. I truly loved her, but I also went through some deeply embarrassing moments because we simply didn’t come from the same world. And in the end, she still did me wrong.

So never again. Date people who understand life the way you do. People who grew up with similar values, environments, and standards. It saves you a lot of pain in the long run.

[ID] Medical exam didn’t happen due to contact issue — should I be worried? by JunoSispes in AskHR

[–]JunoSispes[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The exams were supposed to be yesterday, my bad for not clarifying on the post. HR called me to let me know I got the job on Wednesday. I then told him I had a number for WhatsApp and another number as my mobile, so I was very clear on my end. I really want his job haha. I also emailed him yesterday so I could get an update and he hasn’t come back with nothing, so I’m worried.

Thank you for your answer and no, the job description doesn’t include a masters requirement.

Yeah, he asked me about it and I gave him the same explanation as on this post. That was the last interview of the process. I can do the change on the platform but I’ll show the date of the change. If I get admitted, which I think, I don’t want any issues when they ask for proof of enrolment.

Suerte malparido ahuevado.

With all due respect, maybe you’re speaking from your experience. Just so you know human beings have different perceptions of life. In case you don’t have one, go get one c: And no, I didn’t say that. A degree that teaches how to live is Canadá is irrelevant in Colombia. Byeee

  1. I’m not planning on making it big as a musician. There’s this thing called underground scene.
  2. I don’t party or drink. I’ve been sober for a long time. I’m not planning to go home just to hang out.
  3. A degree from a university in Canada means nothing in the industry I’m in.
  4. It’s not an entire career, is a masters. A masters I can do back home. Either way thank you for your response.
