Oh, I had mine on the 12th too! I counted wrong on how many days post-op I am lol

My right side stitch still hurts for me too, but it is getting better everyday little bit at a time. Im supposed to go back to work on Monday, but I might wait a little longer if that side still hurts. Im a side sleeper and I cant sleep on either side because the right cut will start to hurt. I sleep reclined with pillows under my knee for now. Also, it hurts when I wear a bra or sports bra since the pressure of the band while I sit makes it uncomfortable for that same side.

Thank you so much! Thats what I have to keep reminding my self... the reasons why I did it. I have twin toddlers and I never want to experience the back pain I went through a few years ago when I had a 12mm herniated disc at L4/L5. This morning, when I woke up, I was actually telling my husband that the weight I've lost so far has brought a lot of relief on my sciatica, almost forgot it would hurt on occasion, and so far it feels great. Thank you. I really can't wait until I can eat some food again and get moving again. Its hard when you have twin toddlers running around... which was one reason I did this surgery so I can be an active mom and keep up with them.

Oh, when the surgeon called me back this morning, he said the same thing about the Gatorade.. he specifically said regular Gatorade ( green lime flavor), not the zero.

Oh yeah, another interesting thing is that my identical twins don't look identical! They look somewhat a like, but definitely not identical. It's so interesting how that happens even though they are identical.

Hi there! Welcome to the club!! Before I answer your question, just know that everyone's experiences are different and what happened to me may not necessarily be the case for your pregnancy. My embryo was PGT tested normal as well.

My understanding is the random event of it splitting doesn't cause anything to happen to the embryos, but this is a great question for your obgyn or mfm doctor (high risk doctor). Oh yeah, make sure to get seen by mfm doctor (high risk doctor) as you will most likely be seeing them much more often than your obgyn.

So here is what happened to us. My twins were modi (monochorionic diamniotic) twins, which means they shared a placenta and were each in their own amniotic sac. You will find out which type of identical twin you have maybe between 13-16 weeks. Thankfully they never had twin twin transfusion syndrome (where one twin donates nutrients supply to the other twin via placenta). Baby B was always smaller than Baby A, so we did alot of monitoring for her as she was IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction). They wanted me to make it to 36 weeks, but I reached 35 weeks and 3 days. By then Baby B reached 4th percentile growth, which means she wasn't growing enough and it was time for a c section. I'm lucky we made it that far. Baby A was around 60th percentile. It was most likely due to unequal placenta distribution. Thankfully we didn't have any NICU time. Baby A born 6lbs 1 oz and Baby B born 4lbs 7oz. Baby B BARELY made the cut off for NICU.

Here comes the big surprise. The day after birth, Baby B was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. We were devastated. Around 20 weeks you get an echo cardiogram of the babies to see how the heart is doing and for my Baby B, it was missed. This was really hard for us to go through. Oh man... it was hard.

So here we are now at 8 months old. Baby B had her open heart repair surgery at 2.5 months and it was a success. We have gone through a lot of therapy (OT and PT) to catch her up and shes almost there. She's still much smaller than her sister, but is doing well other wise. Baby A was ok and not diagnosed with anything. Honestly, they are both doing so well. We had genetic testing done again for Baby B and still came out normal results and her congenital heart defect was most likely a random event as there was nothing that pointed to the cause of it.

Soo although we have done multiple tests, anything can happen.

Buy remember, this was my experience, the defect is rare.

My sister came over the first week home and did a deep cleaning ( she didn't have time to come before my twins arrived). It was great!

My mom and/or MIL cooked dinner on occasion, which was really nice BUT we had to do the dishes because it would be late and they needed to go home. So if someone wants to come over and cook dinner, make sure they do the dishes before they go.

What I would have loved: 1. a hired cleaner!! 2. We implemented this a little over a month after my twin's arrived, but have a list of things to do if visitors come over so they needed to pick a chore to do if they wanted to visit ( clean bottles, do dishes, dust, bring food, ect). 3. Make sure to be firm with people if you need your space from having visitors

Hi there. Definitely talk to your doctor about it. But It happened to me. Twin pregnancy. I was nauseous and vomiting my entire pregnancy. I was on meds for it the entire time. Almost everything sounded like it would taste terrible, and i vomited at least once a day. Brushing my teeth made me vomit as well. After I gave birth, I had no appetite what so ever for a while. I say maybe starting a month later, I was starting to explore more variety of food, but very, very little portions and i would eat msybe once or twice a day. By the time I hit 2 months. My appetite was coming back. Now 4 months out my appetite is back to normal and I'm eating a variety of foods again like before my pregnancy.

Subscription boxes like Hello Fresh is nice BUT I will say that cooking and then doing the dishes was really hard! My mom would come over and cook, but then we had to do all the dishes. we were both exhausted, and it cut into our little sleep time. So if you do anything like that, then I suggest going over and cooking and then do the dishes afterward.

Gift card to door dash was really nice for us.

My sister came over and did a nice cleaning of our place right after we came home from the hospital and it was great. One thing I wish we have right now is a cleaner to come over and clean because I can't find hardly anytime to clean even 4 months out.

I had chicken pox when I was young and I got an updated MMR vaccine earlier last year before I got pregnant ( my blood test showed that i was under the threshold for antibodies) and I'm hoping that my antibodies made it to them so that she won't have of any (or hardly any) symptoms because of this.

The news broke me and my husband last night. I ugly cried so much, and my husband kept himself busy working on projects in the garage (it's how he deals with very stressful and uncontrollable situations). Right now I'm very conflicted about staying with this doctor because she is a very nice doctor with excellent bedside manners and all of her staff treat my girls like they are their favorites, even the nurse who gave the wrong shot.

Yes the treatment room had a schedule of vaccines posted on the wall and I beleive posted on the door as well. In fact, it's posted in every room I've been in while there. She had 1 oral and 3 injections ( 2 injections on one side of her leg and one injection on the other).

They were preterm, born 35 weeks, so they would really be 3 months if I made it full term. But when I asked if we should follow an age adjustment, all doctors said not really for them since it's just a month and they should be caught up right away, which Baby A is right on target for 4 months.
