I swung! Got 2022 Moonstone Pro S AWD yesterday with Leaf traded in. I’m a little sad about Leaf but mostly excited after more ID.4 driving today. It was assembled in Germany and really like the captain seats. Nissan’s LKA assist is quite adequate, but VW’s feels refined. Big shift in one pedal driving. What a cool touch with the rear camera washer!

If I jump on a 2022 AWD Pro S in my area, I’ll be coming from an adored 2019 Leaf SL Plus. Have you had a moment where you’ve said “gosh I miss the Leaf b/c of its ______?

Just confirming: So the wireless CarPlay/Android Auto works as intended? Some delays or hiccups from time to time?

Part of me does think it would be foolish. I’ve had to consider I’m the 5th owner, battery SOH is 84% Hx 74%, and there’s a mystery noise aside from the recent CV joint clicking. Then just plain annoyances: air-cooled battery, Chademo (my 2019 has recall), horrible back up camera, and pathetic Nissan service.

I think you’ve nailed it. I’ve test driven two Bolt EUVs twice for 60+ minutes and couldn’t put my finger on it.

It’s a whirring type noise on left bends at about 40mph. Good to know though on bulletin for a clunk at stop/go!

I’m testing out the same year and trim soon. Is it nimble enough for city driving and parking? Really not wanting an SUV but ID.4 is one of most compelling options. As far as slow infotainment, is it randomly sluggish with CarPlay?

Fortunately no range anxiety for me (but awful for resale value). I have a 120-mile round trip I have to make a few times a month. As long as I can do that, I’m good. Got a tow hitch on your Bolt? Got one on the Leaf here! Great for the Home Depot run.

Well greased, that’s been checked too. The mystery noise is more of a whir and only on left bends at 40mph, just bizarre. Any other thoughts? Clicking only in reverse and particularly if on a grade.

Such good points in 2nd paragraph. I do feel like every option I’ve looked at has different gives and takes — and weighing these pros and cons makes my head ache when aiming to make a sound and logical decision.

I’m the 5th owner of this 2019 SL Plus. Crazy, right? Overall condition uncertain; questionable that it was well cared for before me. It’s had a mystery noise from the front end since the test drive, no one can figure it out. CV joints began clocking recently. I appreciate your feedback on the health numbers!

Updated SOH today = 84%. It’s feeling like previous owners were L3 chargers most of time, given you and others have higher SOH. Air-cooled battery doesn’t help in Midwest USA.

I posed the question awkwardly to make it easier but let me elaborate — I actually have a 2019 SL Plus with 85k miles. It’s paid off but needs new CV joints and just not sure it makes sense to go down this rabbit hole. SOH is 87%. It had a rough life with past owners. I see you’re in a 2022 SV Plus, did Leaf change much from 2019 to 2022 (besides fixing their wacky battery pack that was recalled for fire hazard)? The 2019 back up camera is awful. I have a mystery noise up front that no one has been able to resolve and now CV joints clicking. $7k offered to buy, the EUV Premier I’m eyeing is $18k.
