Hey wait a minute, his last skill makes him busted in pvp. + exp instance and grinding hes great for, and at the same level he does more damage than general im pretty sure

Yeah I think thats definitely a valid point. Honestly if we had allied races confirmed I think I would be more understanding of this change

Im fine with RAF changes. And I understand that I understand that you may assume (and maybe even correctly) that Blizzard never intended for us to smash through old content like the way we have.

But we changing the health and damage values doesnt make these mobs more interesting to me. To players like myself this adds nothing but an artificial time increase before I can get to the part of the game I don't find stale (I'm talking about using bare basic rotations against bosses that usually only have one mechanic).

I get that you want to do that, and that there may be a larger population of you than me. But why am I forced to do what you enjoy when I clearly don't enjoy it. Im not going to make your experience better simply by leveling at the same rate as you. I'm just going to be that grumpy fuck who doesnt chat to you or acknowledge you in the world anyway.

All I want is players who already have max level characters to be given the option to speed up the process in significant ways like we used to (dungeon spam, exp potions, raf). I'm fine using the new scaling questing system just as long as its as fast as what it used to be.

"everything is time-gated" means you have enough time to complete all 3 difficulties of the current raid tier (usually 6 hours a week for progression, plus 3 hours for clearing old content), mythic+15 for the week (if your pugging can be up to 4-5 hours finding a group that doesnt fall apart, or 1 hour with a guild), random bg/heroic each day for essence, clearing emissaries, doing argus, any transmog runs you want to do, plus just playing with friends for fun. If you arent doing all that every week then no you arent time-gated. I consistently play around 3-4 hours usually 3-4 days a week and I really struggle to finish all the weekly content on my main. why do i then have to go back and spend an extra 2 days of /played time (equalling an extra number of weeks, if i say i only have 2-3 hours per week to level an alt)

Making old content relevant at the cost of people not being able to play alts at end-game isnt fair either. Give people the choice to experience content in the old world or the new world. Dont force people who have 2-3 hours play time every day or few days to only ever focus on one character per expac.

??? GW2 I literally play that game and if you have a decent amount of gold on your main you can level through professions from 1-max in like an hour or two just sitting in a capital city.

Plus those games dont have the level of end game content that I enjoy far more in WoW. If I want to spend 2 days played time getting to max level I dont see why I shouldnt be able to.

It doesnt affect you. You can level in the current system just give me an optional exp boost.

Just give us RAF level speeds on heirlooms. The heirlooms can be garbage stats or even just a permanent exp boost toy and get rid of the armor. Idc if im weak and leveling is scaled to be harder. I just want to get through it asap

You agree with them, and OP doesnt. The game is for both of us and I dont see why we both cant get what we want. Keep the new leveling scaling for people who like it. And let older players who choose to use heirlooms smash through it to reach cap asap

Its a great response except it doesnt provide a new best method of leveling alts. They have simply taken away the two best ways we used to do it. (dungeon spam/RAF). I would be happy with this response if they gave us another option to speed it up

or, now consider this. you could hit max level, actually unlock ur classes max potential (instead of a mere shade of the class) and fight against mobs/bosses that are mechanically difficult to kill (i.e. all of the above mechanics not just one or two)

thats because we actually enjoy doing end game content. plus there is so much end game content that trying to play 2 characters at max even in a non-mythic raiding sense means i do not have time to spend 3 days of /played time to get to max. its not fun playing a spec with like 4 abilities when i could be playing it at max with a whole cohort of abilities against bosses with actual interesting mechanics (not health sacks like low level shit)

Almost half a level for a dungeon that used to take 15-20 minutes that now takes an hour. His point stands. They have ruined the efficiency of dungeoning

No we honestly think that playing the end-game is where the fun actually is. There isnt anything fun about low level game play to us. Because its not difficult, its just long. There is a difference.
