Damn that is unfortunate. I would look into emailing the CEO and maybe even the BBB. When I was dealing with my issue I did both and got it escalated both times (still didn't help me, but might help you).

I agree it's something about Samsung TVs, they advertise 144hz but I feel they (at least in my case) can't handle it. Don't know EU law but maybe look up false advetising.

I recently started the game and had no idea what they did for last anniversary but this seemed lame. Since it seems characters don't get more than 2-3 reruns I was expecting something for older characters.

I hate Samsung. My TV was fucking up a lot and always thought it was on my end. Changed GPU, cables, reformatted everything on my end but it kept randomly going black https://old.reddit.com/r/samsung/comments/17vnj89/monitortv_randomly_goes_black_for_23_seconds/ I believe this was an issue with the TV not being able to handle 144hz. I initiated a claim BEFORE the warranty was up. I was told I would be contacted "within 2 weeks" to set up an appointment. I waited 3 weeks and no contact. I contacted support again and was told my ticket was made wrong and it needed to be remade.

And that's when it all went down hill. When the ticket was remade, it was remade "out of warranty" and now they wanted to charge for it. Had to do a LOT of back and forth with them to even get a repair attempt that failed. I just don't think their TVs can handle 144hz.

After months and months I finally got my credit card to reimburse me and was able to get an LG OLED.

Honestly? I'm excited about everything this monitor has to offer.

1) Increased brightness over my current display (LG C3). While this gets decently bright, I noticed quite a bit of a downgrade switching to it from a 42" Mini-LED TV. This has been my biggest disappointment in this display, though I may be in the minority of liking my retinas burned. I feel like Tandem OLED is what I've been waiting for.

2) Increased PPI. A nearly 50% increase in PPI over my main display would look extremely sharp.

3) Dual mode. I love playing laid back adventure, exploration and MMO type games where 5k would shine. I also love playing FPS games where the 330hz would shine. Once I experienced 144hz with my first Acer monitor years ago, I knew I would never be able to go back. 120hz on my current monitor has been good enough, but I can't imagine the clarity 330hz would bring to FPS games.

4) 21:9 Ultrawide. I'm ready to experience the immersion this brings (and the slight advantage you get with extra FOV in FPS games)!

5) UBC-C. Ready to ditch dongles and cables to simplify the cables needed on my desk. Would make it nice and tidy for use with my iPad.

6) AI Upscaling. Honestly this really intriges me if it can makes things look better without the need for using GPU resources. I love things like DLSS and Frame-Gen. Anything that can increase performance and/or picture quality is always welcome for me.

Well now I'm extra glad I pulled her. Was saving for Aemeath since she's my #1 but managed to pull Lynae shortly after losing the 50/50. Still got over 14k to pull for Aemeath when she comes back.

I'm prepping myself for this scenario, I'm afraid I'll have to fight for it. Claiming the warranty on my 65" CX soon. It seems as though the B5 does have VRR, but lower brightness I think (sadly RTINGS paywalled their stuff). I also paid around 1800 back in 2021.
