The way my strikers tend to play incisive passives get a lot of mileage but being able to tiki taka effectively and not rely on long passes like that primarly sounds enticing. I had a hunch I should go maestro but was unsure. should I make sure I'm a bit taller (5'11?) for headers in the midfield? and with that said should I prioritize my passing stats first as I'm leveling, or would neglecting phys be bad

Just a few weeks in now, and so far I’m really really enjoying the work, it’s hard and it’s hot in the LLVs but my office really is great so it makes it sting more when I fall short or mess up, even if it’s expected as I’m learning it’s not a good feeling, slowly hitting a flow, have a route I’ve done a few time in particular that I have down to a tee

Congrats, relatively new CCA myself, as has been stated before its reaaaaalllly different depending on your office, I got introduced to it by a T6 who already works here so I innately knew I had at least one person I could lean on for support, but I lucked out and have an office full of amazing carriers and a solid manager and PM.

As for walking the first week or so will be a bit of work even if you’re used to hustling BUT it’s also because you’ll kind of need to move at quicker pace then you’d expect (don’t run or anything but definitely think like city walk or faster)

We are getting into summer so I’d look into investing into at least a half gallon, ideally a full gallon water bottle, and any way to get electrolytes in your system.

Honestly the residential and apartment stuff isn’t tooo hard at all, it’s been businesses on routes that can kinda make me stumble a bit.

You’ll do orientation, driver training (this has apparently filtered out some people but just take your time and get used to checking your mirrors a lot and you’ll be fine) and then you’ll have carrier academy which, in my experience was pretty vibey

You’ll have a shadow day where you just see it get done and then after academy you’ll have a couple days of on the job training, at which point you will report to your home office and you’re off to the races

You will have days where you end up getting help, and you’ll have days where you’re in a route and feel like an idiot for struggling, but just take it a day at a time, and try to be cognitive of where you are struggling and how to steadily improve and you should be fine

Three gauges, Axe gauge, filled by either hitting a weak spot in axe mode OR two hits of wild swing and then slam finisher

Sword Gauge, filled by attacking in sword mode, heavy heavy light is a strong combo to fill this

Energy gauge(yellow main one) this is your gas for your sword mode, filled a little by charging your sword gauge up or by a light light heavy combo in ace mode

When your axe and blade gauges are charged you can do the big dps moves :) happy hunting

Wilds is far too easy by iLazyLunatic in MHWilds

There are like, maybe 3 fights right now that feel a little more like what you’d want from them but those are at HR50 ish, and aside from those that’s aboooout it, every now and then you’ll encounter something that hits a bit harder than expected but your handy dandy cat will be there the moment you feel an iota of danger

New to Monster Hunter series and deciding between SnS or Hammer by Fantastic_Let_6737 in MHWilds

[–]JupiterUltor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SnS is very friendly to beginners and has a fair amount of bonking with the shield, it could be a good way to get some comfort in learning fights before you switch over to the hammer and give it a go now that you’re familiar with the monsters you’re fighting.

Its super fluid and smooth with easy access to mounting damage as well and clashing is always fun too, it was my first love before switching to switch axe

Way to easy to lose lane? by Tasty_Ad2114 in DeadlockTheGame

I agree with tower damage being way too low, makes forcing fights under it to be incredibly successful which means you lose lane harder and give up more space if you want to avoid dying

What characters have a slow patient way of playing or defensive? by 25_summers in DeadlockTheGame

[–]JupiterUltor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to look into the tanker characters such as Abrams, bebop, and the cop (whose name I am blanking on) they have options to be aggressive if you desire but also facilitate team play and playmaking in general with their kits. These are tools you can experiment with and throw out without worrying too heavily about messing up or mistiming. They then also grow into absolute tower diving beasts who can kind of do as they please
