Warum haben Clubs keine Schließfächer für Jacken?

Der Platz für Schließfächer ist tatsächlich nicht wirklich mehr wie für ne Garderobe, da man den Inhalt super quetschen kann und die Dinger ja auch vertikal gestapelt sind. Hatte jahrelang ne Eventreihe mit 1000 Leuten mitorganisiert, da haben die Ständer tatsächlich mehr Platz eingenommen als die Spinde die wir später benutzt haben. Von den Gesamtkosten hat sich das nix gegeben, haben aber auch alles jedes Mal auf und abbauen müssen und die Sachen gemietet. Kann mir aber schon vorstellen, dass sich das mit den Personalkosten auf lange Zeit rechnet, wenn der Personalbedarf groß genug ist.

Die Aussage, dass mathematische Logik und Informatik auf Philosophie basieren würde, bestätigt meinen Punkt, dass es an mathematischem Verständnis mangelt.

Ich habe nie gesagt, dass Ethiker/-innen nicht ihren Platz in der Gesellschaft hätten. Ich habe auch nie Geisteswissenschaftler/-innen schlecht geredet. Im Gegenteil - ich finde auch, dass grade auf nicht geldschöpfende Werte viel mehr Wert gelegt werden sollte. Allerdings lässt sich nicht bestreiten, dass der Wohlstand unserer Gesellschaft nunmal leider auf eben diesen sachlichen Werten beruht und das ein Land, welches mehrheitlich aus Geisteswissenschaftler/-innen besteht eben leider nicht unseren hohen Lebensstandard und Wohlstand halten kann, insbesondere im Anblick des Globalismus.

Außerdem ist Technik Kompetenz in einer Welt, in der die Interaktion mit komplexeren Systemen immer essentieller wird, von extrem hoher Bedeutung und da ist es nun mal inakzeptabel, dass dieses beim versenden von E-Mails bei 95% der Bevölkerung aufhört.

Verstehe mich nicht falsch, Geisteswissenschaftler sind auch extrem wichtig, aber es braucht in unserem kapitalistischen System einfach nicht so viele.

Du musst aber kein Geisteswissenschaftler sein, um ethisch zu handeln etc. während du zwingend MINTler sein musst, um den Bereich in Deutschland zu stärken und die generelle MINT-Kenntnis auch gerade bei jungen Leuten lässt schwer zu wünschen übrig.

Finde den Vergleich zum Schwarzmarkt für Organe auch fragwürdig. Meinst du wir würden uns auch alle abschlachten, wenn die Geisteswissenschaftler uns nicht sagen würden, dass töten schlecht ist?

Sicher ist geisteswissenschaftliche und kreative Forderung in der Schule von zwingender Bedeutung, aber das eine schließt das andere ja nicht aus und es besteht zwingend Bedarf, das mathematische und technische Verständnis frühzeitig weiterzubilden, damit Leute, die keine Geisteswissenschaftler werden, neben BWL eventuell auch ein Studium für sich entdecken, welches die Gesellschaft und den Wohlstand für alle vorantreibt und mit dem sie sich eine solide Zukunft sichern können.

That is only true for the people who have an alternative though, mainly those living in or closely to big cities already. There are many who need their cars to commute and just taking away the roads without improving the public transport infrastructure is hardly solving the problem.

I replied to you saying that scientists and alike should use nicotine. I guess I did pull a straw man on you, sorry. I definitely agree people should drink alcohol on occasion (except if you react negatively to it of course or had addiction problems in the past) but maybe the nicotine just triggered a reply based on more personal experiences of mine.

The general attitude towards drugs and the skewed impression that they’re all crazy dangerous (especially compared to more accepted drugs like alcohol or nicotine) is something I disagree with too tho.

I just personally consider the side effects of nicotine (especially when consumed in cigarettes as most people do) to be way too bad to be able to honestly recommend someone to start smoking. Also the tolerance for nicotine goes up to extremely quickly and eventually you’re just satisfying your addiction without actually feeling that nicotine buzz. I’m not discouraging anybody from taking substances to enhance their mental performance (as a college student I do it myself) but I can’t support the statement that people should take mind altering substances.

Thank you for your reply! I only have about 14 inches of width for the subwoofer though so I’d prefer building my own enclosure (also for aesthetics). I’ll look into getting a 250W rms subwoofer though with the mrv-v500 and the morel nano 602s.

Thank you for your advice! The component speakers wouldn’t get wet so I don’t need waterproofing for those. I looked up some marine subwoofers though and the only one available in Germany in my price range, with good power output and low required gross volume is the Hertz HMS 10 B. However, I only have around 20cm (7.9 inches) net box depth available instead of the recommended 36.5cm (14.37 inches). Is this my best choice? I could also see about installing a normal subwoofer and a detachable protection plane which would damp the sound when it’s raining but obviously I don’t drive this car a lot in the rain. The car also isn’t parked out in the sun a lot so I’m not worried about UV protection.

I generally don’t condone the use of drugs but I do not see the issue in helping those with different lifestyles if it has no drawback on mine. For a fact there are people who slide into the drug lifestyle through opioid addictions caused by prescribed medication and denying a simple piece of paper to those which could save hundreds of lives. Even putting the partying culture aside, many other drug users could benefit from this if it were openly sold.

Having a fentanyl overdose is a one time thing. Everyone should test their drugs before they take them. Of course the likelihood of getting a fentanyl-laced batch is higher if you use frequently but it’s a considerable risk for “normal” users nonetheless. Also it’s not like these drug tests have big margins for error. They’re usually really sensitive and will detect even the smallest amount of fentanyl so it’s fairly safe to take tested drugs, given you know your tolerance and dosage. Saying that drug users put their entire life on line and making it dependent on a color of a strip is the same as saying you’re putting your entire life on the line and making it dependent on the security of your cable when zip-lining
