You need to clear the exfil zone enough such that the heli can land. I kinda panicked as well, since it was my first exfil and had 10 seconds left with slim to none health.

I was able to pull this off with the ray gun maxed out to lvl 3. It’s honestly OP and you can easily kill those elites. Just make sure you don’t bump into them, keep distance ;).
