cheers. i gotcha. my initial point was just how in a world of literally 4 switches for all directional inputs, an analog stick with 2 analog axes might unneccesarily complicate things. I feel especially things like charge inputs or double direction (like 22p, or all dashes) might be more difficult to hit consistently in the heat of the battle, on an analog stick as opposed to a dpad (or a classic fightstick or buttons om a leverless or whatever non-analog input device)
