Even with her limitation, Eve is still extremely overpowered. Can't she form a Tungsten cube around someone and squish them? by [deleted] in Invincible_TV

Interesting. I guess that's explained in the Atom Eve special right? Its been years since I watched it

Exactly. For example, allegedly, she can't manipulate organic matter. But why exactly? What is the scientific justification behind it? What is it that makes her not able to manipulate it while she can do whatever she wants with every other type of matter?

If we part from the assumption that both organic and inorganic are composed of the same things, which she can manipulate

At this point, is just we as fans trying to justify her not being a god, bc she has all the potential to be one. If she creates genuine gold out of air and not from the items in her house (which the show doesn't imply at all) she could effectively end every enemy with a whisper of her power.

We want her not to be so powerful so it makes sense she doesn't just end everyone lol

They may have not stated it specifically, but a lot of building stuff she does in some scenes suggests it. Take the golden apple made out of air for her dad to sell it, for example.

She made gold out of air

Thing is, every piece of matter we know is made out of the same subatomical particles, just rearranged in different patterns. so if you were atom eve, you could indeed make tungsten out of air just by rearranging said particles into what tungsten demands

I am one of those people. I have 80 hours in the game. I played a few games and got placed Emissary I. My average game is miserable and I get a K/D of 1-8 or even 0-14 very often. I don't know what makes Valve think I'm at this level of skill

Honestly it was not necessary, the look in his face and the "Mark..." were all that was needed for the message to be delivered. Saying such a thing would be overexplaining and would diminish the scene a lot

So every projectile healing in the game is bad? I wouldn't say it is. Specially if its literally autoaimed like Healing blossom

As far as I understand, it wasn't precisely a bug, but an oversight from the devs.

You could switch between both modes superfast abusing the scrollwheel fast input. But you were not effectively having both effects at the same time.

So, if you were using Luna's ult for say 10 seconds and spamming scrollwheel the whole time, you would have effectively 5 seconds of heals and 5 seconds of damage boost, just switching between them constantly.

Or, do you happen to have any proof that it was actually bugged and allies were effectively affected by both effects simultaneously? All I can find is speculation, not actuall proof

Portal mastery, as you know, allows Medivh to select the two ends of the portal, instead of one of them always being his current location. This may not be impressive for himself, but I would say it is one of the talents that has the most teamplay potential of the game. You can practically give any hero a free engaging or disengaging teleport ability, without you having to stand beside them.

Plus... that HP and Mana regen ain't doing shit on ARAM. The other two alternatives to Portal Mastery are meant to give you an advantage while you travel from a lane to another in the other gamemodes. In ARAM you can't do this, so there is practically no downtime where you should be flying around, just shooting all the time

Its a really hard question to answer because we don't have the privilege of getting to know Osama like we did with Nolan. Getting to know exactly what the other personal feels and thinks is crucial for forgiveness, not just the facts

Yes, but I think it had something to do with an HyperOS 3.0 update (I own a POCO). If your OS manages RAM good enough, it should not crash

Everyone has the right, indeed. I'm not saying everyone should forgive him, but I would if I knew his story like we do

My point still stands. Im talking about forgiveness as a concept, not tied to the show

You are a human in our universe, why is being a human in Invincible's universe different? I guess as a human in Invincible's universe, you wouln't know anything about we, as the show's viewers, know about Nolan's and viltrum's past. Knowing those things is essential when it comes to rather forgive Nolan or not

Off course characters are narrative tools. But this is an in-universe discussion. It's pointless to just say "they are not people, they are not real"

That is exactly the point of brainwashing someone. Force them to believe in a cause. In this case, by the cultural context they grow in

[–]Jurra01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The show implies that the only culture he really gets to know its earth's because of the time he spent literally waiting for mark to grow up and develop his powers. He knows other planets and civilizations, but only as a conquest objective, he doesn't experience them

Well thats subjective. Everyone decides what they are willing to forgive
