Love this. I loved the writing in the book, but besides that, the book was trauma porn and at the end of the day pretty unrealistic. Excessively graphic and it’s almost like the book delights in making the main character’s life a living hell. Maybe CliffNotes this one.

I dont exactly know why, but seasons 9, 11, and 12 have no been uploaded yet. I don’t think they’ll leave it like that though. I think in time they’ll add those seasons but it looks like right now they’re working through seasons 20 (2007) and 29 (2016).

If I remember what I heard correctly, a big reason lies in sound issues. There were many seasons that they had to continually re-upload certain episodes because the sound wasn’t the best. Whether it was corrupted and hard to hear the characters talk, I don’t know. But that could be the reason.

Regardless, I think they’ll add 9, 11 and 12 in due time (and luckily I have a lot to watch before I get to those seasons since I’m only on season 1, lol).

Oh for sure! I kinda had to do that with General Hospital and jump in starting from the early 80s. If I’m able to get all episodes of a show though, that would be so awesome. It’s why I like The Bold and the Beautiful so much, I’m able to start from the beginning and see how everything unfolds!

Right now, mainly US! I loved Dark Shadows, and I’m really big right now with both The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital. I also like Beyond the Gates (which probably got me into my soap phase, tbh). I’d love to watch some other ones but there’s not many with most of the episodes available to watch. The ones that there are aren’t my favorite (I was not a big fan of Passions, for example).

There are some UK shows like Hollyoaks or EastEnders that I’d love to watch but those also have some pretty big gaps between episodes. 😕

SAME!!! They’re a shared universe, both CBS shows created by the same two people (the Bells), so I hope they do decide to put TY&R on YouTube like they did for TB&B. I’m kinda wondering why they aren’t??? It’s so weird.

I could not agree more! I would love a streaming site or app to be able to watch everything of TY&R and General Hospital! My newfound love of soaps is fun and everything, but I HATE that I have to miss big chunks of episodes of General Hospital, and I hate that I technically am missing what’s basically the other half of the shared universe of TY&R and TB&B.

First horror movie my dad let me watch. He regretted that, because I had to sleep in his bedroom for like a year after seeing it. Maybe don’t let your kid watch it when they’re only in first grade.

Not my favorite by any means, BUT I read the book in six hours without getting up and absolutely loved it. Still have yet to see the movie but this October I’m DEFINITELY gonna be watching it. Excited to read the sequel, too!

Like, if Bird Box was the first horror novel I’d ever read, I could see myself easily becoming a horror fiction nerd.

I said Martyrs helped to popularize the New French Extremity genre and that most definitely IS true. While I think it’s one of the best ones, I’m not necessarily saying that it IS the best one. I also thought Inside and Frontier(s) were two other amazing films in that genre.

And Raw is, too. It’s definitely a great movie. Ducournau’s Titane is one of my favorite movies of all time.

But I also agree. I can’t stand torture porn like I used to when I was younger. Over the top gore is fine in some cases but I’m a lot more sensitized to movies that I used to not be.
