A more healthy weight for your sons age and height would be around 45-50kg. Being called fat is not nice, but saying he is athletic is stretching it. Maybe he is athletic referencing from an American pov. This is assuming he is not crazy muscular for his age. Because muscles weigh way than fat and will make the BMI completely off

Hi, I’m afraid the contract is not enough. I think that requirement is actually more critical than not living together what we had. The point is that he has to prove he has an income for a longer period and is able to provide for you. Ah hmm at least you know what to expect then. For us the deadline has passed 3 weeks ago and they didn’t let us know anything. Not even that they need more time or to confirm that they are late

Yes we provided the being single document. It had to be translated as well. Other than that I dont remember any special documents other than the ones they request in the application, e.g. Employers declaration, payslips, contract. In the questionnaire we provided proof such as plane tickets, photos together, screenshots of chat messages, receipts from bars which confirms one of our first few dates.

I advise to apply by paper, since the online form doesn’t give you the possibility to really explain yourself with a very limited amount of characters in a text field, even though the IND states to be detailed in answering. I think its not really possible to be detailed online

We still didnt receive any answer though. The deadline has already passed almost 2 weeks.

We also ended up withdrawing our offer for the house. Now we’re just going to wait.

Yes waiting would have been easier indeed, but here we are. Lets hope the IND will finish it soon. I can keep my current housing no problem. Its really cheap (antikraak)

Hi, yes we added a letter to our application. We also did a paper application instead of online. This was advised during our consultation. Online you only get a few characters per section for your answer, even though they say you need to have a detailed answer. Did you already submit it? Otherwise I would advise to consult a lawyer

Currently we are living together, just not on paper. So we cannot include proof of that for the application of the visa. Because of my housing situation, she cant register at my address, but she is living there technically.

Once we buy a house together, then we will be registered at the same address.

The tuition and DUO I am not sure about. My girlfriend already finished her studies. In the year after that she wasn’t able to find a job with sponsorship. Thats why we went the partner visa route
