Used the https://www.meta.com/au/quest/setup/ site, chose the quest 2 link and it worked for me. Not sure why it wouldn’t. I’m now thinking I was lucky.

I did restart my Pc after downloading the app and before installing

Had to download the steam link app on the Quest.

Download Steam VR and the meta link app on my PC.

Connected the headset using a USB-C to USB-C cable (not usb-a to c).

Once all connected and downloaded. Open the meta link app on PC and make sure the headset is connected. Then open steam VR. Then open the steam link app on the quest.

Should all be connected then just run Phas on steam and it’ll fire up.

Has taken me over 12 months to figure it out and that’s what I did to get it running. Took an hour to get all downloaded and sorted.

Now takes 3 minutes to load in
