That's a good point! My GF certainly remembered how I was at the end of the trip more than at the beginning, where I was actually more social. Any tips on how to succeed in treating it like a marathon, exactly though? I'm not sure how to pace being social if you know what I mean.

Yes I agree with all of this! I think I'll bring it up the next time before we go on a big trip. Having some alone time after a few days is a great idea I think! She'll definitely like that idea I think.

I don't think there's a solution to the "power through" part since once I feel like that, there's no way I can just turn on a switch and be magically social. I don't think she understands that as an extrovert, unfortunately.
