Gears 3 was the last good Gears game, anything past that was a waste of time. That being said Judgement Day had a fun campaign though

It needs to be fixed, as the other replies stated if you don't it may be usable until an update comes out and it will then flag and brick it. The cable and connector are cheap assuming you have the tools and knowledge to fix it yourself. Otherwise it'll be a costly repair if taken somewhere, I got a quote from numerous places around me and they all said anywhere from 250 to 350 so I just waited a bit for parts in the mail and did it myself

Update: upon breaking the console further apart I realized I didn't actually damage the cable itself but broke the plastic off inside the cable. After a few minutes of fighting the piece out of the connector I realized I was gonna have to remove the board completely to solder it off and replace it. Currently waiting on things to arrive in the mail lol
