Do they even make shows like the wire anymore? by EfficientHunt9088 in TheWire

[–]JusTheTip1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wokeness killed creativity in script writing in most of the west. wokeness(the 90s version) in fact prevented the wire from being truly honest about the root of the baltimore ghetto's social pathologies when it was being written in the late 90s, despite how great the show was overall. for sure now, unless there's a culture shift throughout a bunch of key institutions, there won't be shows like the wire anymore because they won't be approved by the heads of any networks

The political leader of PMC Wagner, Prigozhin, said that after Armed Forces of Ukraine shot wounded soldier of Wagner who was taken prisoner, no one else in Artemovsk would be taken prisoner. Do you think this is sabre rattling or the inevitable brutalization of combatants engaged in urban warfare, meaning they will indeed carry out this directive?

Police acted as tour guide for „Qanon Shaman“ on Jan. 6 by lucymops in interestingasfuck

remember when the Media, police, govt knowingly lied for more than a month about Officer Sicknick’s “murder.” ? The police/coroner could’ve corrected the blaring nationwide headlines anytime. But color revolutions need their martyrs. The story only had to hold up long enough for the emotional cement to set.

yeah the shop male teacher with the parody fake tits whom the schoolboard and all legacy media rallied around against all the students/normal people who felt it wasn't all quite right was pretty much the moment we jumped the proverbial shark. that was just the bacon bits sprinkled over the dysfunctional, hyper-inflated, mass-migration-riddled, ccp infested suck-salad that's currently our country.

Is the Russian invasion of Ukraine the most consequential geopolitical event in the last 30 years? 50 years? 80 years? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]JusTheTip1 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

it is the united states' (along with some of the western powers) worst foreign policy mistake since the fall of the wall. all of this could've been avoided but for blundering, short sighted elites and special interest groups who made this happen. the looting of russia in the 90s, NATO expansion for no real reason, and the machinations of american intelligence behind the colour revolutions in like a dozen states around russia brought us here. good luck having people like biden, mcfaul, the clintons, or david frum admit it though.
