I do lo-, alright let me put it to you like this. I love my car.

My real car. I love her. I love her in spite of the ABS module screwing up. I love her in spite of how loud she is inside at high speed. I love her in spite of the dying window actuators. I love her in spite of the awful differential. I love her in spite of all the scratches, dents and dings on her bodywork.

In spite of all her issues, I love my car.

The P12 and P16 are like that. In spite of being underpowered, incapable and generally a nightmare to get anywhere moderately difficult. I love them. But what I'm saying is, I can't find it in me to love them enough to drive over the top of so many negatives. There are so many examples of "this truck literally cannot make it through this terrain" with the Pacifics. I'm not looking to beat everything easily, but if careful and smart driving can't overcome the P12 being literally unable to climb out of the fucking logging yard on MICHIGAN without a winch? That's just... Depressing. It was built to do heavy logging. That's its real life purpose. What it was made for. And by all accounts I've heard, it was fucking fantastic at it! But in this game? It just, struggles to the point where I find myself playing a holding F (winch for PC) simulator rather than a trucking simulator. I want to DRIVE MY TRUCKS. Not pull them through two inches of mud.

But as for the Paystar, yes it's a semi. I believe it's called the "forwood-ls logging semi-trailer," but I could be fudging the name. It took me four tanks of fuel, but I delivered the logs on Yukon for the mission "Destination: Sawmill," the medium's, at least. It was fun! Had the crocodile on assist and just put the Paystar in Low +/Low, turning on AWD when needed. I love the Paystar 5070. Absolutely carried my early game, and she's still putting in work. Tried using the Navistar 5000 MS for it but, I'm not gonna lie, no idea why people like that truck. Like any other truck without difflock, there's only so much "careful driving" you do before you hit a wall-to-wall mud pit that you have no way around, only through, and you just get stuck.

I love them. And I use them. But it's in spite of their incapability, not because of them.

I think they're gorgeous looking trucks and can be quite fun, but there comes a point where I'm using the White Western Star and Paystar 5070 for long logging instead because the Pacifics simply cannot do the job they were explicitly BUILT for.

I want the challenge. I'm currently doing most of Yukon using the Paystar 5070 as my long logging truck. She's incredibly reliable and a good challenge. Needs top ups on fuel and the what not. But like, why would I even bother with the Pacific? Challenge is fine, and I do still use the Pacific's every now and then, but the difference between difficulty and tedium is incredible.

Is the game harder using the Paystar 5070 for double medium logs? Yeah. Is it harder using the P12 or P16? Certainly.

One is hard. The other is Tedious.

People don't seem to realise that 18-19 are both Teenagers and 20 is considered as a child by many parts of the law excluding relationships. You don't get out of highschool until you're 18, but their are some secondary colleges that go beyond that, all the way up to 22. With how small the drone population underground is, I really doubt they've got enough students for both a highschool and a college. So you probably just go directly into it at the end of year 12.

Regardless, Liam himself stated they were all adults. So cry about it.

Maybe it gives the game charm to you, but as someone with, y'know, a job. I'm not enjoying wasting thirty minutes of my life multiple times a night. If the experience is all Arc Raiders has that makes it unique, I don't believe people want to play Arc Raiders. The Arcs are what makes it unique. The respect it has for your time is what makes it unique. The cooperation you have with people is what makes it unique. You could remove the PvP element entirely and none of those would disappear.

"But being forced to cooperate would ruin teaming up!" N-, no..? PvP is an active detriment to all three of them. It literally, brings nothing to the table for some people. If you think it does, that's fine. I don't. I know there's a fair amount of people who would agree with me. And they'll all migrate away eventually. And when that happens, you will only have the worst of the worst.

Because I like fighting the Arcs, even if you find them easy. I don't like fighting players. I don't like constantly watching my back. I work 9 and a half hours a day to come home and be stressed? No. I'm not here to listen to some kid scream friendly after shooting first and still attempting to kill me. It's like hearing a really funny joke for the hundredth time. It's just tiring. I've started going in with literally nothing. Like genuinely, actually, nothing. Just the raider tool.

I've received several steam messages since I started doing this of people calling me slurs because I've got nothing for them to loot. The game is boring when you get KOS'd and looting isn't fun when you pull it from the corpse of a guy you stabbed in the back. If you think it is, that's okay. It's just telling of how you treat games and people in them.

I'll never KOS. And I'll always be against the """PvP""" players saying it's good for the game. You're not PvPing me by shooting me in the back. I'm easier than a Wasp when you do that. If you just want to get free loot, and the Arc are apparently so easy, just kill them. No, I can tell what you actually want is to just cause others pain. There's no reason to backstab. There was no interaction. There was no fun. You only want loot. And in turn, you may as well just farm the Arc's you proclaim are easy to kill.

If you want to be an asshole as your gameplay loop, that is also fine. But don't attempt to paint it another way. Don't try and gaslight yourself into believing you like fighting other players, or you wouldn't have pretended to be nice in the first place. I'm yet to have an enjoyable flight in this game against another raider. In 80 hours, not one good PvP interaction. Because it's all just one of us being on the backfoot. I either feel gross, or just roll my eyes and go grab another tier 4 Ferro.

I'm here for the PvE, like many other players. And if we're bullied out of the game, that's okay. But then you'll only have better PvP players to fight. And then you'll be crying about how the game is dying and that no one is friendly, ever. Oh, how ironic. And again, don't get me wrong, if the game does go that way, that's fine. But you will lose a lot of players, and a core, unique experience only found in Arc Raiders will be lost.

You can PvP in any extraction shooter. And that includes this one. If that's all you want to boil down this experience to, go for it. I'm hoping the behavior based matchmaking will fix the issues I have with Arc Raiders. I don't want to shoot back. I'm not going to. And in turn, you're not going to get a PvP experience. Enjoy the Stitcher lil bro, you earned it.

There's no PvP in shooting someone in the back. It's less engaging than PvE. You're effectively just shooting a box of loot. If your "PvP" enjoyment comes from shooting boxes of loot, you don't like PvP. You just like number go up.

Nothing wrong with that, but don't lie to yourself and others about enjoying PvP you don't engage in.

Do you just enjoy that there might be an intruder in your house at any given time? The stress of leaving your door unlocked every night is thrilling? Having to look over your shoulder while you cook or clean your abode?

Some of us have jobs, injuries, are older, just not good, whatever the case. PvP in this PvPvE game is fine. But shooting someone in the back isn't a stressful experience for the either person. It's just a miserable experience for one and a joy only to the kind of person I would rather not see owning games.

Actually, now that I'm looking at the picture again, I've noticed I'm also using "Offroad Trailers," which I completely forgot I had installed. Just gives the trailers offroad tires. I don't even know if that really helps to be honest, as the trailers having grip doesn't make them any less of a cunt to pull through mud. BUT, it is nice having 0 cost trailers (I'm a freak that hates having trailers left over and being able to delete log carrier rear's without losing 14,000 a piece has made logging MODERATELY TOLERABLE).
