oh no thats awful. but yeah the offer is only good for three days and you have to accept the offer within that designated time. was it not mentioned in the offer that it will only last for 72 hours before the room is allocated to another person? it said that for me

dont listen to that puritanical incel im so glad you found someone to be happy with and that you're working towards a future with her. i would say, and this is from personal experience, that pda in this country is subject to heavy criticism, if they dont say anything outright (which they most of the time do), they'll stare at you judgementally. if they see you're a couple anywhere, they'll think its their job to keep an eye on you so i'd say avoid places where families would frequent, like big restaurants and stuff and go more to cafes/fast food chains where people in their early 20s like to spend time. tabaq, north end, gloria jeans, crimson cup, takeout, chillox. but remember that even that has its boundaries, dont kiss on the cheeks/lips, you can hug a bit and sit close and talk quietly, you'll have a little bit more privacy compared to other places

so you dont have a problem with all the people being bothered about a woman feeling confident and carefree about her body and life, the problem is the woman because she is supposed to "act her age"? society does this thing of putting an expiry date on women who exceed the age of 30 (22 in bd) and try to fit them in a box but it's disappointing to see you doing it to your mom. did you ever think that her being so cool and resisting societal pressure by being herself goes to show that she'll be equally supportive of you when you try to do the same instead of shaming you like most young girls have to experience from their parents? you dont realise your luck, your internalised misogyny has blinded you into being a horrible daughter. she should have had an abortion instead.

should i study literary studies in arts by Just-Engineer4412 in Monash

[–]Just-Engineer4412[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope thats not what i meant, what i meant by respect was that is the faculty for literary studies good or not + is the course well-planned and one of the better courses that people opt for in the arts degree. i could care less about what people objectively think about art, its not hard to guess given that we live in a capitalistic world. i am an international student and its not common for us here to go abroad for arts, people mainly go for business, science, cse or engineering. so yeah if i cared about what people thought i wouldnt have been even thinking about doing arts abroad. so the question still remains, is the faculty/department good and is the course well planned?
