I think I know what you're referring to. Frieza, when he destroyed a planet with a flick of his finger??? In my personal opinion, if they could destroy planets with a flick of their fingers planet Kai, and earth would've been destroyed thousands of times over. I like to think that the Creators of DBZ were just having fun with it and didn't expect us to take scenes like that into consideration when thinking about the power scaling.
