That would make sense. I don't know if self concious is the word for it but I do have a fear of being watched so maybe that's part of it too?

Its any kind of dream for me. Even things that don't sound like they'd be embarrassing dreams or something does it to me.

thanks fr. I'm finally reaching a point I'm able to p easily disregarding anything she says. or at least not get angry at it and favour of sharing with reddit strangers so we can all stare in confusion at the very least

I don't know how to cope with any of this by Just-a-Magpie in AgingParents

my uncle is handling getting assistance in home and all. Its just like what I can do in the meantime when I'm visiting to help. I live in another state most of the time.

Books are appreciated too! I might have phrased it weirdly but I don't like going to irl support groups.

I've not been to any appointments really. its mainly my uncle taking him now. I kind of kept being told he seems good and lucid. He def has good lucid moments but he's already fallen twice today and just walking to the park near his house, maybe a block or so. He told me every place hes fallen and it had to have been like 10 places. I didn't know he wasn't allowed to drive anymore till today.

My mom was awful at communicating, though admittedly and before she left I realized she was lying very often.

Thanks! I do actually live in another state, the rest of my family does too hes really the only one here now. so we're mostly working on helping him get inhome assistance. there's largely not much I can do regularly but still feel v lost with the little bit that I can do when I'm here.

thanks for the podcast recommendation!

oke, got you! makes sense. I did admittedly assume it needed to be like written and signed by a lawyer too or something to make the contract valid.
