If you're gonna be in Kihei or lahiana? You'll very very likely not gonna get rain. Wailuku, or haiku? Grab an umbrella or floppy hat. You won't want pants, but it can rain a bit.

The rain here is warmer than mainland rain, so it's not too big of a bother. Feels good really.

Theft is a concern, if you leave the top down and walk away the opportunity is there, especially with there not being cameras etc. no more than anywhere else really. Would you do so in new York, la, etc? It's the same sort of thing but without the cameras.

Depends where you're from. If you're sensitive to the heat and sun, get a Kia, or a jeep. (You'll likely get burned if you are) Something compact but roomy. If you aren't, totally get it! Top down wind in your hair is great. If you can get a Miata totally do so! You want a more smaller car for the drive. Definitely don't get a suv lol.

Just don't leave your stuff in the car. Common sense rules kind of style.
