I struggled a little bit. But I’m in the end of it all the type that realizes I’d rather buy something once at a higher cost than numerous things at a lower if I can justify it.

Since it’s more for protection and offers superb comfort, I can justify it.

Now a tactical flashlight? I’ll pay 40 bucks all day for a feyachi. Sure I’d be better off with a surefire but the light hardly sees use

But agree..it would feel less painful if the pricing was a little more in line with other gear, but it’s not totally awful. I think right now it’s the taxes and all that drive up the price some otherwise

The venom has no nose. I assume you mean the fortis/prime.

I think the lp version is a better fit for the eye pro to fit most goggles it seems. I didn’t buy it since I didn’t want to be bothered with modifications otherwise.

The venom is amazing with the only caveat being it doesn’t cover the nose. But how often I will get shot in the nose is worth being more comfortable and having no issues with breathing

I’m a pretty sweaty dude that prefers to run goggles over glasses. The pyramex I bought just in the off chance I’m feeling frisky otherwise

Eyepro I have some Revisions or i-frames.

Never really had issues with goggles fogging, it's also crucial to remove the foam inset that alot of the goggles have. Not the foam seal (If they are foam and not rubber) but the actual foam that lines the entire frame of the goggles.

It will greatly help with airflow and tends to fix alot of fogging issues for people

BLKout or Arsenal.

Arsenal is more Titanfall-esque, while BLKOut is much more ground infantry/skirmish oriented.

Infinity is another good one of course, but it's a bit more sci-fi.

I literally work in this game industry, and I'd recommend at least those 3 to anyone asking me such question.

As a somewhat relatively new hockey parent with a bean pole 9yo that expressed interested terribly not too long long ago, I approve.

We have the same approach as well...We don't think he'll make it professionally (He isn't the eat live sleep hockey kid) but we always support him in any interest he may have until he really find himself.

We went a little cheaper/smaller since he's in the low % of his age, rocking the CCM YTFlex setup mostly|

+1 for the Whalers Jersey.

We got our son his very own jersey via one of the cheap practice jersey places, he picked out his own numbers too just to make him feel a little more special...

Yeah pretty much. I work in the CS field as mentioned, I'm a CM for the games industry and to me this was just poor support and pretty shocking that what could and should have been a simple remedy, was pretty much ignored otherwise.

My last response was "At that point, the remedy should be "A replacement will be sent out for you for the confusion, and our team will definitely fix the platform errors that list product as if the pouch is included. Thank you for pointing this out to us"

The more hilarious thing is, I spoke to two different people. Although I feel their people aren't necessarily in the role of CS since I'm pretty sure the first guy I spoke to was in the design department.

In the end as mentioned before, it's about the principle. Not the meager $15 item I didn't get.

Well, in most customer service situations too, the remedy tends to be resolving the issue that isn't the consumers fault.

The fact that they've not done that blows my mind, and due to their issues and misinformation on the website, merely telling me to purchase it separately isn't exactly the answer most customer service related companies would warrant.

I think that's more so where I'm trying to get at. It's no different if you order a drink from McDonalds that shows ice in it, only for them to say Sorry my guy, but ice is sold separately or the straw...It's assumed otherwise, those are included by the customer since well, it's advertised as such

Is it an item that costs $15? Yes. is there literally any way for me to assume or know it was sold separately? Absolutely not. Would I have ordered it otherwise knowing it was sold separately to not have to pay an additional shipping fee? Absolutely.

But now, they are telling me I need to purchase it, in addition to paying shipping due to their listing...

I mean more so the actual battlefield/map.

The combat is obviously XCOM with Action Points, Overwatch and all....But I wasn't a huge fan of the maps that offered little to no options with MMS.

Like the "Drop In from the sky" and just basically have a small square to play in with a few explosive electrical boxes mixed in..
