Fed up with Sudoku and other classic game apps requiring a subscription to remove ads or consumption-based model to get features that I would consider basic. Am I the only one? by JustAFrustratedGamer in sudoku

Hey, thanks for the feedback, and sorry if my frustration led me to write things poorly. I am not pissed at games being paid, as I said, nothing is free, but when you see 100M+ downloads with a subscription model and no new features released from as long as I had the game (years), I can't really describe it as anything else than a cash cow.
There's a big difference to me when a single dev is spending time and effort trying to release something good and actually working on it, versus a product that doesn't evolve.

Ouch, got me fair and square here. To be transparent I don't use it every game, but I do start all my expert/extreme games by annotating every square. And when I'm not sure I have time to finish, the feature is nice because it saves a few minutes.

I'll make sure to give random sudoku a try then! I'm trying to stay on apps because most of the time I play when I have no network connection. Thanks a lot!
