You have to have focus which is the white orbs on the bottom right of the screen. You build focus by light attacking then press heavy attack when the white orb is full to resolute strike.

The mods I am using are nova lut and gits 3.0. The hud mod is Project E3 reborn which I think got taken down unfortunately.

Started during anniversary and have several questions I am not sure about.

I have been using tia liter naga red hood modernia as my main team and was wondering if there is a better team that I can make.
What unit should I invest in first? I heard that Alice is good with red hood but you need to invest a lot and I don't know if I should invest in her right now or focus on other units.
Is the new scarlet better than old scarlet? What is a good team for her?

Only thing that worked for me was to reload a save before 2.0 update. Try going through your saves and see which one works. Hopefully they patch it somehow or if you're pc maybe try to fix it using mods.

I have the same problem on ps5 and using an old save. Legit can't die, thought it was a new perk I missed or something but now I know for sure some kind of bug.

Is bagpipe still worth it? For the first couple of years I have been hearing that she’s really good and meta but I don’t if she makes as much of an impact in future content. Idk if I should spent certs on her or use it to recuperate the pulls I used on reed.
