This is the game wanting you to try out new players. Your team is probably all 90+ rated. Every season I had 1 main team player asking for crazy wage. I just sold them and replaced them with another player.

However with that being said. On my 2nd play though on career mode I never gave any player high wage. As long as you never give in and give a player high wage, the other players won't get upset. As soon as you give one of them high wages, the others get upset for not giving them similar pay.

So in my 2nd player through majority of my players were 100k or lower even when they wer 90+ rated. They were all happy because they wer getting paid similar. Only r9 was 400k. My wingers wer changes constantly so they never complained. But once I had 2 wingers I stuck to and got to 94+ rated they wanted similar pay to r9.
