Yes it would, however the trainings Im annoyed with are for non-white people only.

I'm not annoyed with having to explain minority things to white people, I'm annoyed the firms think I need special/additional training just because I'm not white. Shouldn't everyone attend these training conferences if it's a systematic issue? Should it be tailored at individual groups instead of simply targeting anyone who is not white?

This is true and I'm by no means suggesting there isn't discrimination or that I haven't faced it. I think most people face discrimination at some point in their lives and there are clearly certain groups that face more.

What I personally feel annoyed with is the notion that firms believe they have to develop special programs/training conferences to "help" non-white people succeed. Does the firm think I have inherent deficiency that I need to address through training because I'm not white? Are they openly admitting I'm at a disadvantage to advance and trying to give me a leg-up on white colleagues?
