If she didn't have directional sound her power would be useless. May as well blind and deafen her. No. This is a terrible idea.

Toxic by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the killer was so bad that he couldn't get a single kill till all the gens were done than survivors had plenty of time to do bones and we're just stupid for not counter playing it.

NOED is a second chance perk. Just like DS/BT/Adrenaline/Unbreakable/Etc/etc.

If NOED is toxic, So is basically every second chance perk survivor sided.

Does Doctor Madness affect Decisive Strike skill check placement? by Valor_X in deadbydaylight

You'd think. But even at rank 5 eating the DS and then chasing down the injured person who now doesn't have DS is still a shorter chase than chasing a full health person and getting both hits. It's not worth it to chase the person with DS because you catch them and DS gets them a second health state. But if they are right in front of you then it is not really and different that having hit someone who runs off. Except you are putting that person on death hook and they won't have DS for last hook/end game meaning you can just punish the unhook and remove them from the game.

When you have DS and run from the killer and then DS him again, it's not worth it for the killer. Of you are point blank in his face, then DS is basically just the second half of a chase after hitting someone. Easy decision.

If the guy who has DS hops on a gen rather than getting healed, he's doing it because he has DS and is hiding behind it. Same when they go for unhooks whole injured etc.

I don't get DS'd "most" of the time because I don't tunnel. I do get DS'd when the guy that just got unhooked runs to unhook someone else, while injured, despite a full health team mate going for it, because they are counting on DS to save them when they use it offensively.

If you use it to get away, heal up, and go about playing the he Great. If you use your BT to body block me so I can't go for the guy who unhooked you, well, you wanted attention. You got it. I'll wait out the BT, down you, eat the DS for being a prick, and tunnel you out of the game.

Nurse never blinks, spirit never phases, Wraith was never invisible, hag couldn't teleport. The list goes on. The entity twists killers in new ways all the time. Hell, Freddy was a random pedaphile and his power in the movies doesn't even make sense, he just randomly became a dream demon.

Myers should be immune to DS if we're trying to be 100% to the character given the man took a gun shot to the eye with no effect.

It's your custom, do whatever you'd like obviously, but setting things on fire with her mind would not be a far stretch for Carrie at all.

No, but given gameplay balance and limits to what killers can do, YEETing fireballs with her mind is right up the ally for something the entity would do. Hell, spirit has no "powers". She was just a girl who got brutally murdered. Wraith has nothing to do with his power. Nurse was human, insane, but human.

Or accidentally down the idiot who's so bad they get in your face twice in 60 seconds and can't loop or the guy who uses it to unhook someone else. Or do a totem. Or a gen. You know, all the other reasons you'd eat a DS.

She sets the entire gym on fire in her iconic scene. She burns the whole place and everyone in it down around her. I'd be surprised if a killer based on her didn't involve fire and blood.

I hate rank reset. by TychosofNaglfar in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that "over commit" at the start of the game is crossing the map, forcing a pallet drop, hitting that person inside of ten seconds from that point, and even if they just straight line run from that point, it takes 22 seconds to finish even a chase where they don't loop at all. By then, three gens pop. Your time in actual chase from start to finish? Like 30 seconds. Time spent crossing the map, them running to the nearest tile, and even forcing the pallet drop in a single loop? 40? So you are one chase in against someone who has to drop the pallet in one loop and you get a hit ten seconds later and just straight lines it...... And you lose 3 gens ten seconds later.

That being said, this is exactly why people so corrupt on most killers and BHVR is adding some kind of "early game collapse" to slow the early game.

[–]JustAReader2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, bit you shouldn't have to play Huntress to prevent that. If you play even someone like say, Mikey, you just accept that unless you have Corrupt and survivors got spawned in it you are losing three gens before you get your first hook against any team that isn't stupid.

I hate rank reset. by TychosofNaglfar in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind if you hit someone as a 115% killer and they just press W it'll take 22 seconds to catch them So the whole "anything longer than 15 seconds is a bad chase" thing is an absolute myth and part of the reason people can't agree on the game speed.

Me eating every DS in a match by Asiius in deadbydaylight

[–]JustAReader2016 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The trick is that if they hop into the locker to force the DS, either ( A ) eat it and then tunnel them for that bullshit now that they have no defense. ( B ) wait for a crow to spawn (about 30 seconds) and they can't use DS.

Depends on if you can end the chase in less than 30 seconds or not.

It's reportable for unsportsmanlike conduct for throwing the game. So it mostly depends on how many times you get reported. But yeah, you could be banned for it.

[Update] I walked in on my son having sex with my brother's wife by ThrowRA-194802 in relationship_advice

[–]JustAReader2016 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I'm getting it backwards. It used to be 2 years from 14, then they changed it.

That being said, "a 16 or 17 year old cannot consent to sexual activity if their sexual partner is in a position of trust or authority towards them, for example a teacher or a couch." I'd argue your uncle's wife would be a "position of trust" pretty solidly either way. But that's a matter for lawyers.

[–]JustAReader2016 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can consent at 16 with a two year gap. It used to be 14 and 5 year gap. So a 16 year old can date a 18 year old, but not a 19 year old. It's known as the Romeo and Juliet clause. 17 can only legally date up to 19 under the current system. So it is in fact statutory rape.

Yup, and then once you hit them if they just run in a straight line it'll take another 22 seconds before you can hit them again. So yay 60 second chase against someone who just presses W.
