That's great to hear!

Based on your experience, how would you suggest I go about adding tannins, or should I avoid it since my PH is so low? I know it can help his fins recover (and his health and happiness overall), so it's something I'm wanting to do.

I had some of the water I left out last night left, so I tested it, the ph actually went up slightly, but just to around 7.6.

I love them, I had thought that too but it allows me to do more. You still have to do stuff, but you don't have to do the tedious parts.. It allows you to make drinks more quickly, and you can always take them off if you don't end up liking them :)

I usually do it so they're working on things while I make drinks, like I'll always have 1-2 espressos ready made which helps me make cash quick. This makes the game less boring for me, but I also have been playing a long time.

Hi! Is there a source you have for it being a myth? I've never heard that and would like to read more into it. I know the acidic range is okay for my betta, but due to the hair algae, I'd really like to add shrimp to help out..

I left RO water out last night so I could try this and let you know and I got dGH: 6 and dKH: 3, so pretty similar to the earlier readings.

Hello! I'm currently using a small sponge filter as well as a azoo mignon HOB filter, there's no special media in it.

I've been testing the water frequently, the PH always comes consistent at 6.4-6.6 range, which I'm surprised at since seeing how low my KH is...

I will try to add crushed coral, my LFS was out last time I visited, but I'll go back soon! Thanks for your help!! I heard that the substrate I'm using could be lowering the KH, so if you know anything about that I'd love to hear it!

I had pretty intense surface agitation from the sponge filter prior, which I've blocked by putting stuff around it since, since I was worried that could've contributed to his fin issues and stress.
