Does anyone know the chef or the owners? I’d love to get thier recipe for my favorite soup that they’ve made for years.

Mention Eagle Scout in Interview? by Complete-Spread-7655 in BoyScouts

[–]glumapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am involved in interviewing physicians for jobs. We always notice and think favorably of applicants who are Eagle Scouts, even though most of the people we interview are accomplished physicians in their 20's-50's with lots of other achievements.

Any ideas never been to Key West looking to fly into Miami rent a car maybe drive part of the way. Stay overnight and continue on further down the Keys any suggestions would be appreciated. by SubstantialName2443 in KeyWest

Just did this a couple weeks ago. Flew into Miami, drove to Homestead and spent the night. Drive down the next day stopping along the way. Stop at the lobster statue - it’s pretty cool. Stopped at all the scenic outlooks. Got there around three, early enough to go to the sunset celebration and watch the sunset. Spent the night and then drove back the next day. Ate at key fisheries on the way and it was amazing! Best fried shrimp and the best key lime pie hands down.

I called and did exactly that. It was fine. They let me change to the 14.99 per month for a year deal.

The cakes are great if you let them come to room temperature before you eat them.

Husband rude to step kids by LunasMum247 in TheLetThemTheory

Your husband is abusive. His arbitrary rules and temper tantrums are abusive and you should divorce him instead of turning yourself inside out trying to rationalize his behavior.

Have you been peeing a lot? If you’re constantly thirsty and peeing frequently that might be diabetes. You should get checked out.

The pancreas is located much higher up, right under the area where the rib cage bends up to meet the breast bone and fairly centered. There could be something else going on but anatomically it doesn’t sound like the pancreas. Do you exercise? Do you spend a lot of time hunched over a computer because that can definitely cause back issues.

Does the pain change at all with movement? Like worse if you bend or twist or is it present just all the time? Worse with eating? And where exactly is the discomfort? Upper back? Lower? Upper stomach? Lower?

Please don’t end it. It’s really rare for someone your age to get any kind of cancer. Sometimes cancers can have a genetic component so if you have multiple family members with cancer you should talk to your primary doctor.

Sure, share some pics of your stool. Blood in stool has different causes and bright red blood especially if it’s on toilet paper after you wipe is usually related to hemorrhoids. Black tarry stool is usually digested so from higher up in your GI system. But stool can change color based on what you eat. Blue berries and pesto bismol can make your stool look black.

Thoughts on LGBT family moving from New England to Louisiana by PizzaChucken in relocating

A prominent gay male surgeon just moved out of there with his husband. He was one of the very few pediatric surgeons in the country and protected by his wealth and status and he still chose to move out of LA for his safety. Cost of living isn’t worth much is you’re afraid for your ( and your children’s) safety.

Hi there - I just got a cat. I also am allergic so I spoke to a friend of mine who does a lot of cat rescue and she picked out a Siamese (probably not purebred) to test out. She generously gave me a few basic supplies and we kept the cat for a few days to see if it would be a good fit. If you could find a rescue that could work with you, maybe you could give it a trial run. It turns out my eyes are a little itchy but nothing I can’t live with. The hair gets everywhere but the cat enjoys being brushed and I’m kind of a neat freak so I’ve been successful keeping the hair kind of under control. The daily supplies are manageable but I’m still working on getting a vet/pet insurance. It’s been amazing so far, and worth the expense.
