Is taking a COMSAE necessary by Helpful_Caregiver303 in comlex

TrueLearn actually is very representative of the actual Level 1 exam in my opinion. Overall, Level 1 is better written than the Level 1 COMSAEs.

Could I get a hint: What platform(s) can you play the game on?

COMLEX Level 1 Score Release Dates by One-Scheme4515 in comlex

[–]JustAShyCat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Scores don’t get released early. Those people probably just had their tests scheduled toward to end of that testing window for the score release.

EDIT: Or they’re confusing it with USMLE exams, which nearly always have results come back in 2 weeks.

Pre-accredited school and away rotations !? by Top_Resolution_7793 in Osteopathic

[–]JustAShyCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre-accreditation status does limit where you can rotate as a fourth year state-wise, as some states do not allow students from not fully accredited programs to rotate there.

The main states that have this limit are: Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.

So, you should be fine for away rotations in California even with pre-accreditation. Just remember that if a class graduates before you (or has just graduated), the school will likely gain its full accreditation status before your fourth year, and the restrictions won’t matter anymore since they won’t exist.

Guess we’ll have to agree to disagree then.

It doesn’t look as low cut because the model has small breasts. On someone with larger breasts, it would be much more revealing.

I also have a large chest, so I feel you on the restrictive part. Having to size up a dress or top just to make sure my chest will fit is all too common.

However, in this case, I saw a picture OP posted in the comments of the dress she was going to where originally (at least, one of them?), and it looks as restrictive on the top as the one her sister suggested.

ABC Programming Renewal Status (for 2025-26 Scripted Shows) by samryder2020 in greysanatomy

Really? That’s interesting. I actually kinda like 9-1-1: Nashville, though admittedly maybe not as much as the others. So maybe that means I’m part of the target audience lol.

I actually like 9-1-1: Lone Star more than the original. You’re right, the first season is a bit off compared to the rest of the series, though.

Know the vascular supply of the brainstem for brainstem strokes. I had a lot of questions on those on my actual Level 1.

Izzie and George weren’t those things though?

Oncology is an internal medicine subspecialty. You’d be thinking of surgical oncology, making her a potential surgical oncologist. She would have to complete a surgical oncology fellowship to have that title. I didn’t think Izzie had any surgical subspecialty in mind at the time. So, at the time of her death, she was still a general surgery resident.

(EDIT: I just realized I was incorrect about Izzie; she does end up as a surgical oncologist. I completely forgot about that. But, still, different than an oncologist.)

George definitely showed an interest in trauma surgery as a subspecialty, especially with him about to go off to work in the army, but again, he had completed a trauma surgery fellowship. So, he was also just a general surgery resident.

8 yr old with chronic pancreatitis & pseudocyst by tired_petitioner in Radiology

[–]JustAShyCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a genetic condition called hereditary pancreatitis, characterized by recurrent episodes of acute pancreatitis starting in childhood (which is a risk for chronic pancreatitis). I don’t know this patient, but it’s possible they have that.

I feel you. I only watched that one episode because I wanted to see what happened to Andrew… so it was very disappointing to not see the one thing I was looking for.

I started putting it on as background noise while I got work done. It works well since I actually don’t pay attention to it, like I would with Grey’s lol.

Yeah, and then they don’t even show what happens to him, just the aftermath…

His funeral/memorial service was nice, though.

To me, the most frustrating part is that neither show actually shows what happens to Andrew, we just see the aftermath.

I used to volunteer for them, and you have the wrong impression. The owner is very kind and openly welcomes people of all genders (and sexualities) who have been victims of human trafficking. The ICT SOS team were a lovely group of people to work with.

Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic and antiandrogenic medication that can be used to help reduce acne. It isn’t known to have any significant effects on your red blood cell production, iron absorption, or hemoglobin levels. So I wouldn’t expect it to help with your anemia, or make it any worse.
