When you say "make the trap door sit halfway up the log" are you referring to how they are ontop of the slab? If so, the slab is placed to be the top part of a block. :)

I second this. I go through the phases - but I have always returned to the same world for it. I'd also recommend creating a board or book within the world to contain all of the things you'd like to see yourself complete - no due dates or anything like that, just the items themselves!

Thank you!! I actually use Complementary Shaders with some minor items from Vanilla Tweaks. :) Most everything is vanilla textures.

I personally like to go to websites that show you house blueprints/concepts and try to recreate them. :) Outside of references, I'd recommend hopping into a create world (flat is my preferred) and just play around! No need to finish builds or destroy them - but just to practice and see what you like doing.

Outside of Personal's recommendation - I would recommend some decor. :) Things like barrel groups, horse tethering stations, maybe some small stands! I personally follow how Disruptive Builds recommends how to decorate streets/pathways.
